  1. Annnnd it’s all over. Pats take it again.
  2. The ones I’ve seen have been very ‘meh’.
  3. Offense of either team ain’t gettin anything done. It’s a battle of who has the best defense. Lets see if the second half gets more exciting. Wife is watching the (SJW)halftime show. Time for a bourbon...
  4. Not a Pats fan, but even less of a Rams fan..... Go Pats!
  5. This is my EDC knife. Holds a nice edge and doesn’t break the bank. Love this knife. https://www.crkt.com/shop/m16-02s-classic.html They also make it with a partially serrated edge. https://www.crkt.com/shop/m16-12z-tanto-with-triple-point-serrations.html
  6. I tap the rear detent hole 4-40 and thread in a grub screw to secure the spring/detent in place. Great technique. Instead of the Wheeler tool, I use a $.30 clevis pin. I think, off the top of my head, it’s 1/4” pin. Works perfectly. I still assemble some of the lower in a clear trash bag...just in case..
  7. I build lowers in a large clear trash bag, more room to move around, and still prevents launching small parts into ballistic orbit.
  8. I can’t WAIT to get out of this hellhole...
  9. We have a VOIP phone line via Comcrap they we have had for over 10 years, and NEVER used, much less given out the number to anyone. It constantly rings with some collection agent or another looking for a deadbeat lady who doesn’t pay her bills. I ran a number lookup on my VOIP number, and found it was listed as Shaunette Davis, or something like that. I guess she had the number in the past, and STILL gives it out to her creditors. Although we don’t use or answer that phone line, for entertainment purposes, I may borrow your technique, Handyman! Might be good for some fun!
  10. What’s your budget? Do you like a traditional crossbow, or a reverse draw? Mine is a Horton Havoc. Horton is owned by another company now, but you can still find the Havoc around at a decent price. Solid bow, any archery shop can restring, and maintain it when required. Getting hit with a broad head would absolutely suck...
  11. I have a crossbow (didn’t buy it because of TWD). I don’t think a crossbow would be a good SD weapon, as many of them need a cocking sled to draw the string back. However, as a discrete, quiet hunting tool, they are excellent. I have a reverse draw bow, the limbs are over the grip, it balances much like an AR-15 rifle. Extremely accurate, kind of scary how accurate this crossbow is, and fun to shoot!
  12. SO true, unfortunately. I don’t know where these celebrities get off telling anyone else how to live. Who the fuck do they think they are?!
  13. Nothing we would have used, and I would have felt weird keeping any of it. Donated it all to Goodwill.
  14. I’ve had similar things happen to us..W2’s , medical bills, cell phone bills, being sent to my house with my address, but someone else’s name. There is a family in a nearby town that has the same street address as us,( but in the other town). I brought all that stuff to them, thinking the mail had been misdelivered, but it wasn’t for them either. I marked it as return to sender, and never heard anything else from the senders. Several years ago, I had a very strange scam run using my address. For several weeks in a row, mysterious packages showed up at my doorstep...I’m talking like 10-20 PER DAY. Everything from high end luggage, DJ equipment, musical instruments, kids clothes, ‘ethnic’ hair products. All kinds of shit, Stuff we didn’t order. We literally had a houseful of stuff we hadn’t ordered piling up. All of a sudden, the packages stopped coming. The packages were all addressed to me, but with my last name misspelled. I checked all of our bank accounts, credit cards, and our credit reports. Our cards and accounts had not been compromised, nor had our credit profiles been used to open any fraudulent accounts. I called the township PD, and a detective came out to investigate. He was as bewildered as I was..thought that my house was being used as a pickup for these packages while we were not home. I upgraded my security, made my wife become VERY aware of her surroundings, and took some time off work to keep an eye on things around the house. The detective contacted the companies who had shipped all this stuff, and found they were purchased using a ‘rechargable’ Visa card (like a Visa gift card, I guess) over the internet. He told me that none of the companies wanted any of it back, as they had been paid for it through this Visa gift card. Lol. I was stuck with all this crap and no room for it! I gave it all to Goodwill....I didn’t know what else to do with it! Lots of weird scams out there, I’d encourage you to dig into it as deeply as possible.
