  1. I moved about a year ago and never got around to changing my address on my fid. I have to deal with the njsp in my area. Today I dropped off my paperwork and documents. I also had to pay $20 online for the non-criminal records background check. My question is do I have to get re-fingerprinted for an address change? The trooper told me he would try to send the app to Trenton without it but if it comes back I would have to get it done. I will be pretty upset if I have to spend more time and money on fingerprinting. Even though he was very professional he was not sure weather or not it had to be done. Thanks
  2. O I was not aware. Thanks for informing me. Looks like I will be ordering one.
  3. well I went to the oaks gun show on Friday and the had a full test set and I was blown away. I liked the ssa-e the best. I am going to get a lpk minus the grip and trigger group and save for the ssa-e
  4. On Friday I went to the show in Pheonixville and after carefully scanning the tables. I found the spikes lower I wanted to buy. I said Ill take it. So the guy starts to grab it and he asks what state im from so I replied NJ. He said ooh i cant sell you this so I asked why. He said "We don't know what your going to do with this you could make a pistol out of it! So I left the table and went to the only other table selling spikes lowers and tried again. Same explanation. Anyone have a problem with this. I was so bummed. I ended up getting a vltor upper for a great price of $150 .
  5. OK after watching a few videos on youtube Im sold on the geissele products.
  6. If its an issue of failure I would spend the extra money. While im not in law enforcement/military. The current state of our country warrants a life dependable weapon. Just curios what are the weak point of those triggers. I have never seen one break then again I am fairly new to the ar. Thanks
  7. Ignorance is bliss right? Maybe I should ask some one who hasnt used a $200+ trigger . just kidding Thanks for your input
  8. I am mostly looking at the triggers here. The ar will be used for some tactical classes as well as some fun precision shooting. I'm doing some research and have never used a 2 stage trigger. Is the rra 2 stage trigger too light for tactical use or should I go with the spikes with the single stage trigger. I have seen the rra 2stage lpk for 150 and the spikes enhanced lpk for 95 so the price difference isn't an issue. Anyone have experience with these? thanks in advance!
  9. So I have been away from the firearms scene for about a year since the price for ammo has spiked and all the craziness with the new gun control efforts had ensued. I am taking a class and will need some .223 and .40 . Where in south jersey have you seen ammo consistently cheaper than the competitors ? I only need target ammo but none of that crappy corrosive stuff. I live in Vineland area any help would be appreciated !

    PX4 Storm

Me too. The more i see these the more appealing they become. I like the leather background!
  11. Ya it was my drivers license and ya they ask for it. DICKS! hah
  12. So Im at Dicks the other day picking up some .40 for a holstering class I attended at the Atlantic county range when the man behind the counter tells me that if I intend to go somewhere to purchase a firearm that I will have to get THIS fixed. He point to the DMV issued change of address sticker on the back of my license. I proceeded to tell him that the sticker was "State Issued" and is a legal form of ID. He says no you will have a problem, you don't need it for ammo but you will not be able to purchase a firearm with that license. So we argued back and forth about 3 more times. I told Him that I have purchased four firearms from four different vendors with the change of address sticker on my license. I just cant stand when people need to hear themselves talk especially when they are dead wrong. Sorry Just had to vent.
  13. If you want a good target pistol. The mk3 22/45 with the bull barrel is the way to go. Save the money and get a real 1911.

  15. I got the 92fs for my first I would not have changed it. Trust me you will buy more guns. Its full sized, accurate, dependable, and fun as hell to shoot.

  18. http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/1050/products_id/411546098 Anyone seen these before. Watch the video. I looks pretty nice. Are they Russian receivers? Wish i could order one!
  19. Barrel is not long enough. The barrel has to be a certain length on a rifle to be considered legal. I'm not to sure about the folding feature being legal either.
  20. Ive been carrying the spyderco delica 4 for about a month now. Replaced my kershaw scallion wich was also a great knife. The delica is great for edc. Really light, barely know its there. Its also razor sharp and uses vg-10 blade steel(great edge retention).
