Could be that you may be in the line of fire with the mounds near the 50 yard mark. Just a guess. You could shoot to 50 and calculate the elevation at 25 yards with a ballistics chart for your load on the web. Should be very close to the same at both distances.

I had ejection issues with steel ammo when I had my ar but after the david tubbs springs upgrade it was 100% with whatever I put in it. just a bit dirty to shoot make sure you clean well after you shoot it and you will be fine. I would shoot 100 yard iron sight with tula and keep very tight groups with it. as for the "GF" if its her first time out Bullethole on a Saturday is nutz and can be a bit scary and or dangerous I would wait on that and take her after work during the week.

put your target way out and aim at the bottom " like the bottom of the paper it self to see were you point on impact is first" of it they tend to shoot very high and you don't want to shoot the ceiling or target track your first time out. I have shot steel case there and just pick it up and put in the trash as I go they have never bothered me.

You can not bring ammo as carry on! You will need to check a bag and let the airline know so they can fill out a decoration. Leave it in the manufacture boxes and put it in a bag with some clothes or whatever. You will be fine. The only other option is to ship it I dont know how to go about that but sure can be done. Btw what kind of ammo?

Is it legal to buy a rifle online and have it sent to a pa ffl with 20 round mags? Then have them pin them and do the the pickup/transfer in pa?
