  8. Taken Hogs with a couple of different calibers from .223 to 30 06 keep in mind the vitals on pigs are set back a little the heart is a little low just behind the the body armor so its more about placment than caliber. I took this beast with a 30 06 shot behind the ear broke his spine finished him with a S&W 357. 300+ pounds. Hog hunting is one of the most exiting things ive ever done thats why i keep going back. Good luck & have fun. Keith
  9. I bought a DPMS Lefty Upper for about $250 and a Lefty Bolt Assembly for about $85 works fine if you already have an AR its cheaper than buying a complete rifle.

  13. The first thing that came to mind when I saw the badge was you pull into a parking lot next to a police car as you exit your vehicle your shirt hikes up and the cop sees your .45 stuck inyour wasteband next thing you know your taken down from behind cuffed and his knee is grinding into the back of your neck until he finds out your legal maybe if he sees a shinney badge next to the gun he approches you in a less aggresive manor or if you standing in line in a store and someone notices you have a firearm if there is a badge clipped on your waist people may tend to be a little less jittery.
  14. I asked I got. No big deal. Since I can only carry when I leave this State and I dont do that often enough to worry about it I won't be purchasing one just happen to see one and wondered what people on the forum thought about them. 18. I have worked in Irvington for 4 years now im 3 min from Newark im in and out of newark a couple of times a week I would love to nuke both of these towns i had to chase a pair of sh##bags with a tire iron one time they were trying to break into our building in the middle of the day called the police at 2:30 they came back in a half hour i chased them again called the police again was told the Irvington police were assisting the Newark police due to the layoff of the cops in Newark I left work at 5 police never showed up. Another time a guy broke into the building and hid for 2 hours while i was in the building after i left he came out and robbed a bunch of stuff including our 20 foot box truck we got the truck back it was parked in Newark. the point of all this is this is Irvington and Newark is 10 times worse. I have a friend thats a Newark Cop he said the only safe time in Newark is 5;30 am to 12;30pm while the sh##bags are sleeping GOOD LUCK I wouldnt wish that area on my worst enemy.
  19. Just picked up a DPMS Sportical on Gun Brokers $630 Shipped shot nearly 1000 rounds through it already no issues once you start dressing it up its a pretty nice rifle
  20. Im a left eye dominant right hander I still shoot pistol righty because I learned to draw and fire righty and i cant seem to handle a pistol comfortablely left handed but I can shoot a pistol left handed pretty well if I have to but slow at best. Right handed I just tilt my head a little further to the right and use my left eye it takes a little practice but it works. I learned to shoot rifle lefty with a good accurate pellet rifle in the back yard you can shoot all day long for pennys and you dont disturb the neighbors. I used a Gamo Big Cat 1200 it the same weight and feel of a real rifle it has a 2 stage trigger that helps alot and its extreamly accurate. I dont know if I could even shoot a rifle right handed anymore.
