Semi-auto is 6 in the mag and 1 in the chamber.

    What shotgun for 3g

Almost every thread in this sub-forum will give you an idea. Esp in the "Post Your Tactical Shotgun Pics" thread.
  3. Good info, I'm interested in building an open gun too. Is it even worth building a G35 or would it be a disadvantage with super38's and other 1911? Should I go with G22 with larger/longer compensator or G35 with smaller/shorter compensator? For production / minor / ESP / SSP I'll use my 9mm's

    All Metal BUG?

Short range experience/report. This thing sweet! Trigger is smooth, consistent and crisp DAO. Internet reviews are correct about trigger and recoil compared to other sub-compact pistols. I wear small or medium gloves (depending on brand) and I have no problem controlling the pistol. No failures of any sort using 6 or 7 round mags. My G22 Gen3 has more perceived recoil than CM9. At least that's how it felt to me alternating both with different distances. I'm glad I canceled my PF-9 and decided to upgrade. I wanted G26 or G27 but my small-sized frame and european cut clothing style will not allow me to conceal comfortably (where allowed, of course). G26 would have been a safe queen if I went with it. It's not a range gun but for MY primary purpose, and others, its serves well. Did not mean to thread-jack, back to regular topic.
  5. So true, after I got back from snowboarding out west boarding here is just not as enjoyable as it used to be.
  6. Get the real one instead of converting - you'll spend a lot more replacing parts! The JM Pro has all the goodies out-of-the box. Here is mine - http://njgunforums.c...post__p__463549 There are some things you can't do yourself like oversize loading port, chrome hammer and sear, chrome gas system, nice crisp trigger job, etc.. Have your FFL replace with +2 magazine or have him (or her) remove magazine extension before delivery. Btw, I love semi-auto. In shotgun class you'll notice how fast these guns are compared to pump.
  7. Amazing! When I grow up I want to be like Ray-Ray!
  8. Reviving a three year old thread to see if anyone has updates. Search did not find anything useful. I prefer not to make permanent modifications to the firearm in case I move out of state. ---------------- Update: I can't delete the post after finding this but looks like Arms and Ammo sell them http://njgunforums.c...post__p__434483

    All Metal BUG?

+1 Very beautiful piece. And its single action sweet trigger
  11. Maybe a sigh above the bench hanging below the bench light? I can see how people will unintentionally forget -- In a hurry, distracted with members or their guest, admiring another gun, etc..
  12. Nah, the target frame and two legs flip together for potability and smaller footprint but there is no extra frame within. Its a but pricey but good quality. http://www.flip-n-target.com/
  13. Yes, very good point. I'll make sure I am aware and mindful.
  14. Policy says one target per frame. I suppose so members do not destroy the target frames. With this I can staple three 3 11"x8" targets in a single frame.
  15. Is this target allowed in the indoor range? The indoor rulebook says no shooting of cans, bottles, or makeshift targets. But this is professional/commercial target being sold instead of DIY. (EDIT: Add: so I can staple at least 2 paper targets)
  16. I don't think they are allowed to use real firearms (or any movie/TV). Mostly stage props. No?
  17. Thanks guys! Appreciate the advise. $40 + shipping 8 weeks estimated turn around. I'll send my barrel to them after my class next month.
  18. What performs poorly? The gun or Sprinco recoil reducer? IDPA you should be good in ESP. Springco is stainless steel so as long as its not Tungsten if should be fine.
  19. Can anyone recommend a shop that will black oxide a 4.2" 416 stainless pistol barrel? I'll throw in the stainless guide rod as well. One shop here is charging at least $150. Lone Wolf takes 2 months, PK90, G&S Hunters, and artmetalcraft do not provide such services. Yes, I did my research before posting.
  20. http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php?/contact/ You'll get an actual price directly from local vendors "Firearms Price Request". But you may need to narrow down on what your really want first.
  21. PM sent. Put me on the line. I have not handled one in person yet but I am looking for a BUG pistol.
  22. Thanks for the clarification Pizza Bob! This helps a lot in my direction.
