  1. another strategy to employ is one the democrats have used successfully in the past, That is to change party affiliation to "undeclared" and vote in the democratic primary and choose their candidate for them. since the republican primary's really don't matter that much to us we can do more by keeping the democratic incumbents out . If in a democratic primary there is a challenger to an anti vote against the anti in the primary. since all we do anymore is vote for the "lesser of two evils" I don't see much harm being done to us.
  2. The biggest mistake we are making is fighting the ENEMY on their own ground, We are only shoveling the same pile of shit against the tide. Any relief American citizens who for what ever reason happen to reside in this state will get will have to be fought somewhere else and by others and we will reap the benefits of that fight. SCOTUS will have to render a favorable decision on a case or The next Congress, Senate or POTUS will have to pass a GOOD for all states National Reciprocity law that NJ must abide by. We will not beat the NJSC or the 3rd circuit. Other than that a revolution.
  3. Article on NJ.com this morning about the High Point School hiring armed security starting next school year. Guess what, yep you guessed it 2 retired state troopers, proves my point. You mean to tell me there is not a single qualified citizen living in Sussex County that can take these jobs who really need these jobs. I guess the answer is yes since not one American citizen living there has been bestowed their right to carry a firearm thus keeping them out of the qualifications and keeping retired troopers in. I guess when the judge told Almeida to hire a security firm this is what he meant . seems like extortion to me. By the way, why doesn't this site let you post links?
  4. Sussex County Prosecutors Office = NJ State Police retirement club. A boneyard for retired troopers. They have to protect their post-trooper employment opportunities.
  5. Christie will not be the one making the decision to veto or not, Christie is George Norcross's bitch and doesn't leave his house without consulting with him. The outcome must further the lefts agenda not Christies. Christie will do whatever he is ordered to do, If they think having Christie in the "republican" primary will benefit their self serving agenda and put Sweeny in the governors seat than they will have him veto it for that purpose alone. Christie has done more to damage the republican party than Lee H Oswald and Sirhan Sirhan has done to the democrats, We will NEVER see another republican elected as governor in NJ in any of our lifetimes.
  6. "NJ routinely violates its own laws and state constitution." We will observe a classic example of this on the 25th of this month, This is the day a judge will decide on the lawsuit on the pension payment. When Christie signed into law the "Pension Reform Law" it made clear that all future payments shall be made, Now for the last 4 years his treasurer has continually screwed the figures and cooked the books in an attempt to make the governor look competent and now the very politician who signed the law now wishes to break it. one of three things can happen, the judge will allow him to break the law, the judge will uphold the law Or being this is NJ the judge will come up with such a convoluted ruling that no one on planet earth will be able to figure it out for at least the next 3 years.
  7. The state not only violates the U.S. Constitution 2nd amendment, The County prosecutor now violates the NJ state constitution with the statement about changing jobs, How the hell does one "pursue" happiness if you have to pursue it according to someone else's ideas.
  8. Ammoland had an article about the PA AG cancelling the VA. reciprocity and how she plans to go through every state. I wouldn't expect any relief until she is stopped. If there are any PA citizens reading these forums I hope you understand that NJ style freedom control is coming to your state via this AG regardless of what your state constitution states. This Obama administration follows no laws. start taking action now. '
  9. I would not be surprised at this point if he signs the 10 round limit in front of a big press conference. He will put his money on the anti-gun vote nationally in hopes of winning. I also wouldn't be surprised if he ran as a democrat and remove all doubt.
  10. I sure hope the citizens of PA. realize that she will continue the 2A attack until stopped. the out of state permits are just the low hanging fruit, Bloomberg's team will turn over every stone looking for weaknesses. This includes every other state as well.
  11. (who by the way is a republican, just like Chris Christie) Ha Ha, that's pretty funny. Chris Christie a republican.
  12. Probably pissed off the politicians more than the NJSP.
  13. Haven't heard any updates since this story first broke, anybody know anything?
  14. Will there be any audio that will be available on this matter?
  15. Change of address all done, greatgunstatenj must be correct. thanks...
  16. If memory serves me right there was a lawsuit about 10 or 15 years ago +/- where a gun org. sued Montclair or upper Montclair on a very similar issue. We won and the school was forced to recognize the 2A and give equal time to the real US Constitution. anyone remember this.
  17. I usually go to Roxbury coin rt46 in kenvil. you always want to pay CASH, that way there are no names or account numbers connected to you, (remember how the state goes after the smokers by checking to see who purchased cigs online to avoid taxes) keep the transactions below 10g's buying and selling.
  18. I just got done reading the second amendment for the gazillionith time and I just can't seem to find any of these permissible deviations?
  19. I agree about being exposed to future unconstitutional legislation, with the way NJ's legislators keep raising the bar I believe there would be a very good possibility that when right to carry finally makes it to NJ that there will be so many "trap" questions on what will be the new form that if you ever drank a glass of champagne on new years eve for more than 2 consecutive years that would qualify you as being a habitual drunkard thus prohibiting you in NJ from owning a firearm. So its not really important how you answer today as much as what will be applied tomorrow.
  20. Decided to talk to an attorney and also talked to a cop who does the FID's for his dept and explained entire situation, Since psychiatrist was technically not for any mental disorder or anything like that I'm good to go so I dropped off paperwork today.
  21. Would it be easier to do a change of address or just apply new, my card was issued 15 years ago and I have lived at my current address for 10 years. I was hoping to be out of this state some time ago but it now looks like 5 more years. Is there any legal requirement to do a change of address for an updated card or is it ok to apply for a new issue? is one way any more streamline than the other.
  22. Although I do agree with you on having nothing to worry about it is the wording of the question that is a problem for many. "have you ever been treated or attended on a inpatient or outpatient by a psychiatrist ..........................................." I would have no problem explaining myself but what kind of doors are you opening for the future gun issues in this fascist police state. when I last did a change of address and got pistol permits the current question 26 did not exist so getting a new card and permits was not an issue. Now as I fill out the form this odious question 26 is there and designed as a trap. It would be very helpful to many current and future gun owners to know exactly what and where is checked to determine if someone saw a doctor without being ordered to. many NJ gun owners may fall victim to this question by answering yes when there is possibly no reason to. Gun owners in NJ also have to be concerned with the future, Just as they changed the wording on the form and added question 26 they can also change it again or add something like "if you were ever treated you are denied" and a yes answer today may be a disqualifier say two -three years from now.
  23. I know this has been asked many times on the forums but is there anyone who can answer how is this investigated during the background check and what databases to they check to see if someone ever went to a psychiatrist on their own. also, can someone get their own records from the county adjuster to see if anything incriminating might be included. There must be someone on here that knows how this is checked and can give a definitive answer on this question. thanks
  24. What good is it to have a pro-gun forum with discussions about pending laws in NJ if one can't even read posts without having a log on? wouldn't it be more beneficial to the firearm community in NJ if we could all read what's going on rather than a select few. at this critical time in NJ everybody needs to know what is happening.
  25. Action has to be taken on a national level, Christie MUST be publicly asked about this infringement as he gallivants across the country pimping for the republican governors association and MUST be put on notice that ANY, ANY further infringement on Americans rights will not be tolerated by the country. Free America must be educated about him as well as he must be educated about us and understand that the next non-democrat candidate for president MUST be pro-constitution. Letters sent to NJ politicians are for the most part worthless at this point and we must use the national arena as our fulcrum to force him to veto any of this crap. We must get our gun community allies in Free America to bring these questions up wherever Christie goes.
