  1. Controversial nude body scanners used at U.S. airports have come under fire again - after a blogger claimed he could easily smuggle explosives through them onto a plane. Engineer Jonathan Corbett has published a video where he shows how he took a small metal case through two of the TSA's $1billion fleet in a special side pocket stitched into his shirt. This is because, he suggests, the scanners blend metallic areas into the dark background - so if an object is not directly placed on the body, it will not show up on the scan. The metallic box, he claims, would have set off an alarm had he passed through the old detecting system. Read more: http://www.dailymail...l#ixzz1qVxqXSeZ
  2. Umm, how did he get past security checks with the stuff in his backpack? They make you throw out any bottle you have.
  3. What are you doing with your pocket knife that is going to get you arrested, and land you in front of a prosecutor? That's the important question.

  5. Might be a good idea to keep a 'red-light' flashlight on top of safe. It gives you light to see the dial, but won't screw up your night vision.
  6. I would still go to your local PD, and say what do I do now? Maybe if the chief writes a letter to the SP or ATF, there is some kind of expemption you could get? I'm not saying it's likely at all, but still you didn't know you had to be 21, you applied for a P2P and got approved, you ordered & bought a handgun. And no one said anything until you were ready to take it home.
  7. If you are referring to my use of the word, 'secure' your firearms, that wasn't the proper word I was looking for. I should have said your firearms must be in your residence, not that they have to locked in a safe or kept unloaded or anything like that. If that is what you're referring to, my mistake.
  8. That is a bs policy. Look for another place to rent, or just stick them in your closet, on the down low. If you have 50+ guns, and a lot of ammo it might be more difficult but like everyone else said, the law is clear your firearms must be kept at your residencey. Just be careful if you go to the range every weekend, you gotta be all incognito like. Edited: Used the wrong word, and don't want to recite incorrect laws.
  9. And this picture correlates with the article you are making up, how? I hate this state.
  10. Here's is something I just thought of, if Trayvon was scared because some guy was following him, why didn't he call 911 himself? And simply say some weird old guy is following me in his car, I don't know what I should do.
  11. Good for you! Sounds like you did everything right, and everything in bold are good solutions to remember, God forbid you have to. From calling the police, up until you put the 870 back inside to avoid confusing the cop. You succesfully defused what could have been a real bad situation; Very good job.
  12. I carry a fixed blade everywhere I go. If you want to carry a knife but are worried about too much attention, a folder is defiently more incognito. We all know that a majority of cops are under/mis-informed about gun laws, goes without saying knife laws are the same. And gives you the possibilty to catch a cop on a bad day.
  13. Even if he wasn't charged with burglary, a bag with womens jewlery and a screwdriver is pretty suspicous. Also you are being pretty paranoid about getting banned, Maksim never said he would ban you for stating your opinion.
  14. This is not only funny but genius.
  15. Come on...we agreed to keep the bs out of the humor thread.
  16. Sounds like an awesome guy, maybe he will be a driving political force for the 2nd amendment in NJ.
  17. Not saying your wrong, but I didn't hear, yet, that the baggy pants picture was false. Where did you hear that?
