  1. I am submitting my forms on Monday the 25th of June. Here is the info so far. 1. Application type FID and 2 Handgun. 2. Police Department where you applied Elmwood Park. 3. Name of the person you dealt with at the PD LT M. Foligno. 4. Time taken to issue FID and/or permit. Total time was just over 10 weeks. 5. Documents required by the PD Just the 2 forms needed. 6. Notes - Nothing special at this time. Had to call at 8 weeks to check on it then at 10 weeks again was able to pick up a few days later.
  2. Welcome to the forum as well from Bergen County.
  3. As a father of 2 little girls. I agree with what he did and glad he wasn't here. He would be hung by the papers for what he did. Also I can say I don't think I would have stopped either if it was one of mine. Wife agrees as well with what the dad did, she is a true mama bear when it comes to things like that.
  4. Thanks for this post Sandy. I want to take my 2 girls target shooting once I get my card. They are 7 and 6 years old. Glad to see we have great members here to help bring children in to the sport safely.
  5. Wife and I are ready for next weekend for it. And the ex-girl friend is the one who brought food to the old lady in Boston, and took the dad to the ship.
  6. Hey Recessed Filter I think your math is off. 55 + 55 = 110 , 42 + 42 = 84 , 20 + 16 = 36 , Total = 230 . Sorry to spoil the game.
  7. Just reminder to folks with numbers in not whole numbers, UPS rounds up.
  8. I will guess about 240 lbs w/ a break down of the 2 big boxes being 60 lbs each the next 2 largest being about 40 lbs each and the last 2 totaling 40. You can keep the ammo no FID yet .
  9. Welcome to the forum. Also from another Paterson area resident.
  10. Yep they do not need to get a sig at a residence unless noted on the package or label and in their system. That is why if you can get deliveries at work or another safe receiver.
  11. Well as someone who deals with 20 to 40 incoming packages, and 40 to 60 out going packages 5 days a week threw UPS. I can say for the most part boxes make the trip fine. But when you start to get heavy boxes like over 45 pounds or more ( they will take up to 150 ), they have a better chance of just getting broken open. I have called ups for damaged boxes both incoming and out going. If there was insurance on it, it will go back to the sender. IF you decide to call UPS here is the main number 1-800-pickups. When you here the automated voice just press 0 till you get a human. ALso have you tracking number ready to read off to them. Lastly don't expect much from them on this since you are just the receiver and if you didn't sign up for emial notification of delivery they won't care much. But glad to hear the supplier is taking care of the problem, but then it was their product, packaging, and responcability to get the merchendise to you in one piece.
