  1. My next purchase, god willing, will be Walther PPQ in 40 Cal for my Home defense gun. I own two hammer fired CZs right now and want a striker fired pistol. They are both in 9MM and I want a 40 cal. The PPQ suits my needs nicely.
  2. I receved the same call from the campaign folks that ended with the same result. No Veto, No Money. I also sent an e-mail to Christie stating I would go as far as to vote Democrat against him in the futute if the Democrat was Pro 2nd Amendment. I have not heard back as of today.
  3. I think the poster meant that his national career is over if he votes for these measures. I agree!
  4. Update! Gloucester pd is now requiring a different consent form which basically gives them the right to ask anybody, anything about you. They are also including a questionnaire. Not sure why because the sheet basically duplicates the standard application. My wife attempted to drop her app off last week and was given this additional form. I dropped off 2 P2P apps a week ago. The girl out front went over my app, took my money and said I was all set. The other day she left a message that she needed "a couple more things" from me. I will find out tomorrow or Tuesday what those things are. On the positive side, one of my references already received his letter. I will try to update during the week.

  6. Check with Damascus.com in Virginia or Kentuckyguns.com online. I am pretty sure I saw two CZ 75 B 9mm Omega on Damascus yesterday. I bought my CZ75B in Nickel from him and was very pleased. He swapped out the 16 round magazines with 2 ten round mags and even sent me an extra one because he only had one on hand at time of sale. Nice guys! Good Luck
  7. OK, I obviously lumped all of you sincere, honest, gun loving, gun rights advocates into a group I should not have. All my comments were meant for those that intentionally or unintentionally take side with the antis. Sorry for any confusion.
  8. I came into this forum excited, curious, and hopeful just a few months ago. I leave now with a feeling of despair, helplessness and frustration. I have listened and learned from a lot of you, and have had some spirited conversations with some that do not agree with me. I have come to an undeniable conclusion. This forum is doing more to harm the remote possibility of second amendment rights being returned to the people of this insane state than I ever would have imagined. When I come in to read the latest posts I more often than not find someone arguing against more freedoms than for. I have only lived in New Jersey for around 5 years and I fully see why the state has taken away your freedoms over the years. What has happened to you all is a crime. Either you need to stand up and take your rights back a piece at a time or you just give up and turn in your guns. I have had enough of this forum siding with this corrupt government we all live under and trying to reason away any chance of changing the laws in favor of the law abiding citizens. For all of you so called LEO and LEO wannabe, you should consider starting your own forum named "Cops against law abiding citizens." You need to realize that law abiding citizens do not, and will never threaten you. Get off this high horse you are on that makes it OK for you to carry but not OK for the lesser NJ residents. I will probably come back every now and then to see what changes have been made or not made to my adopted state's laws, but you anti-gun dopes have stolen my hope. I will go somewhere else to try and find it again.

    Rail gun?

A Rail gun is also a weapon the us military developed/is developing which uses electric pulses to fire a projectile very long distances accurately. They are planning on mounting them on future Navy Surface Combatant ships.
  10. Just wanted to bump this. Not one response to this very low price. I say again... $32.20 total. Including NICS
  11. It has occurred to me that there is an underlying sentment here that comes from simply being in New Jersey for so long. The people that are born and raised in New Jersey have developed a kind of "we are screwed" attitude that comes out when they see someone pushing limits or questioning authority of any kind relating to firearms. These people would not think of pushing the limits because their limits are so low. Everyone in New Jersey sees what kind of punishment occurs for breaking the law and would not want to even approach that situation. Even though I live in New Jersey now and have to endure this as well, I feel bad that we all have been raised like lemmings. Think of all the words that have been written arguing wether or not this guy should open carry. We should spend more time educating the public and writing to our senators, congressmen, representatives and Governor and who ever may listen. We need to change the laws here and soon.
  12. Callouses from shooting? what the hell are you shooting? If your hands get wet just wipe em on your pants like guys are supposed to!
  13. Wow, I wonder what state, city, or county agency gave you the right to part someone's hair because he had a tone. People like you are the reason that us gun avocates get a bad name. .
  14. He was carrying in a holster open carry.
  15. I am slightly bothered that a member of this forum would feel so negatively about a citizen excersizing his rights given to him by god and the constitution of the United States. Without individuals like this man that are willing to stand up for their rights, those rights will slowly wither away. Sound familiar New Jersey? We NEED to continue to "educate" the police so that this kind of illegal detainment and confiscation ceases to occur. These people are pattiots and should be respected. On another note, doesn't it bother you that simply walking down the street with a weapon of self defense causes uneducated people to call the Police? This situation may serve to educate the ignorant people that have been assimilated into the anit-gun effort. I see nothing wrong with this action and wish I could perform the same action in New Jersey. Of course if I did...
  16. My 2012 CZ 75 B has the drop free mags also. Flying with it for the first time today. Hope it makes it to Virginia!
  17. You should definitely look into keeping your RI carry permit. There is really no reason to let it go if RI will let you renew.. Just make sure to give them a change of address and do it all legal.
  18. Gerard's Guns in Moorestown. $32.20 total, including NICS.
  19. That sucks. I was going to take the wife there this weekend for her first shots.
  20. Teky, your dog obviously has no consideration of the health and safety of dogs and drivers all over New Jersey. If you are a good New Jersey citizen you will send in your $250 fine tomorrow. Thanks for your support.
  21. HarryLee, I gather from what you are saying that you think if a 14 year old comes into your home and tries to take your tv that you have nothing to fear from him, and if you shot him you would essentially be killing an innocent boy who just made some bad decisions. This situation brings up a whole boatload of questions. Sometimes you do not have the time to answer these questions. If I have a few seconds to decide on whether to allow this misguided youngster to take the product of my hard work, HOPING he is only there for the tv, or secure the safety of my 4 and 6 year old daughters as well as my wife and myself by pulling out my weapon and preparing to use it, I will choose securing safety all day long. This "boy" has now put himself in the position of forcing me to defend my home and familly and will hopefully run as fast as he can out of my house never to return. If he doesn't, he has now made the decision as to wether he lives or dies for me. If you think that any normal Father or Mother of young children should put the safety of their loved ones second to the health and safety of a 14 year old criminal who is violating my sancuary, you are seriously misguided. Perhaps you were one of those innocent 14 year olds? When all is said and done I would most definately feel terrible about ending such a promising criminal career this young man was heading for, but I would be ok. Time heals all wounds.
