  4. A friend of mine and his two friends are going to Cherry Ridge this Sunday morning probably around 8:30. One person is a member and the other two will be his guests. Could anyone here let me be their guest if they are going? I wont need to use your shooting bay either. If anyone can help I would appreciate it and I can let you shoot a Garand, K31,and Finnish Mosin a bit.

  6. The ammo you have has a bimetal jacket, basically a steel jacket with a very small amount of copper over it.
  7. The way the law is written I shouldn't have to apply for an exemption. Under 2C:58-3 i (2) , I should automatically be exempt.
  8. I have heard the c&r exemption doesnt actually work although I never tried it
  9. I dont want to say you're wrong but I'm nearly 100% sure you are wrong. I believe any of the spam cans currently available are corrosive. Southern Ohio and other sites are selling silver tipped saying they are not corrosive but they actually are corrosive. There is however some newer production non-corrosive silver-tip however the price comes close to 50 cents per round.
  10. I just received this email from Cory Booker. I assume its from when I emailed the governor about the mag capacity bill. "September 3, 2014 Dear Daniel: Thank you for taking the time to write to me about keeping our communities safe from gun violence. I rely on the input of engaged New Jerseyans like you when making decisions, and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. Illegally possessed guns are a grave threat to our nation - to our brave women and men of law enforcement, to our communities, and to our children. I joined with others to confront this threat every day as the Mayor of Newark, and now as a United States Senator, I'm fighting for common sense laws designed to keep guns out of the hands of criminals. The most recent available federal data from the FBI shows that in 2012, 8,855 of the 12,765 homicides committed in the United States involved the use of a firearm. That same year in New Jersey, 70 percent of our state's homicides involved a firearm. This is unacceptable, and these numbers can be greatly reduced without restricting the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding gun owners. We can find common ground. We must work together. Nowhere is that need more urgent, or the potential for meaningful cooperation greater, than in passing a federal universal background checks law. The Senate failed to pass background check legislation last year after the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy, but I remain optimistic that my colleagues will hear the forceful call of the vast majority of Americans, and the vast majority of gun owners, who support this reform. There are other reforms that we can all agree upon, too. For example, we must do more to keep guns out of the hands of the mentally ill and adequately equip the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives to perform its crucial work of combatting illegal gun trafficking. Again, thank you for writing to me. I am honored to represent you in the United States Senate, and I value what I hear from New Jerseyans about the issues our state and nation face. Please continue to keep in touch with your thoughts and concerns. For more information on my work in New Jersey and Washington, please visit my website at booker.senate.gov. Sincerely, Cory A. 11. Your grandmother can sell any Rifle to any NJ resident with an FPID face to face. She does not need an FPID to sell and does not need to go through an FFL. When she sells them she and the buyer must fill out a COE, Certificate of Eligibility. There is no legal requirement to keep or do anything with the COE other than fill it out. She can sell a pistol face to face to any NJ resident with a valid Pistol Purchase permit. One she keep, one the buyer keeps, one the town police get, one the state police get. Anything sold to somebody out of state must go through an FFL.
  12. I bent and welded the rails into my ak74 receiver in MD. It was at an AK build party so I had a lot of people I could ask for help. I havent gotten past welding the rails in but with a spot welder it was easy. You will need a front trunion in order to place the rail correctly.
  13. I got rid of my G17 because the grip was too square.
  14. I believe they are technically illegal but it is not enforced at fairs and such.
  15. We've had packs of Coyotes here in Mahwah too and Im on the Ramsey,Mahwah, Wyckoff border. In the winter they were especially annoying when they would all start howling at 2am in my yard. I dont worry about them if you see them in the day they run off. They literally sounded like this
