SOMEONE posted a link over on farcebook on sunday saying that a soldier that deserted(supposedly) from this operation had inside info that there was gonna be a massive emp strike in the area on the 15th. i'm certainly glad that we have such accurate intel on this stuff.

yea....i think they just didn't have the materials needed to keep building those engines. i'd read that changing one was less than half the time to r&r a rolls royce merlin in a mustang. they'd made it crazy easy to do that. did you know the original design that this was a tail dragger?

i'd venture a guess that you are mostly incorrect on that statement.

when you think about it, it is pretty damned amazing just how advanced that aircraft was. if youknowwho hadn't insisted it be used primarily as a bomber to begin with, and entered it into service in 42 or 43, it would've drastically changed things. most of our earlier jet technology came right from that aircraft. and yes.......it is a gorgeous aircraft, although i'm pretty certain that many a bomber crew never wantedt o see it.

ever watch "why i ran"? i watched it last night. there was a lady that lead police on a nearly 30 mile chase. first in her own car, then when they flattened her tires, she faked having a gun, and stole a police cruiser. they finally cornered her. all because she was off her meds for paranoia.

mine's only a couple months old....it came with the current system on it i think. the problem i had, was that google music kept opening itself. i finally disabled that app.

if the guy's had nothing happen since then, he's prolly ok. if he's one of those guys that's like "thank god i had my gun on me, 'cause i'd have kicked a guys ass", then i'd be worried, because that shows anger management problems.

WELL...the reason i asked that, was 'cause just due to the numbers of these kinds of cases in this state......the odds are that there's been many of this exact situation. i dunno how to go about searching for those stats though.
