  1. i've heard of him, but never really seen any of his stuff.....
  2. how much did the batteries cost ya? i just did a pair of hid headlights in an 07 a few weeks back. bulbs were somewhere int he ballpark of a hundred bucks each(but that's any hid on any car), and one is supposed to remove the front bumper fascia in order to facilitate removal of the entire headlight assembly to replace those bulbs. i didn't, as i was able to fit my hands where the bulbs were though.....
  3. the maverick's kinda cheesy.......but it's a flying car. the terrafugia is scary to me. i've seen videos of it in flight, and to be honest, it looks like it's barely maintaining flight at speeds where it should easily maintain flight. almost as if it's either overweight, or underpowered.
  4. not nearly as nice looking....but they've been beaten to the punch. my problem with flying cars, is that i saw enough stupidity in people that went through the entire ppl training. i've had people fly the wrong pattern, and one instructor that told me to keep going on my downwind 'cause he'll turn. he didn't. i ignored the instructor, cleared my turn, and exited the pattern midfield as i made notice on the radio.......the other guy continued as if he never saw us............no.....i don't trust other people on the road, i sure as HELL don't want those #$%^% morons in the sky with me. http://www.avweb.com/avwebflash/news/MaverickFlyingCarLSAApproved_203394-1.html
  5. my 15-22 ate cci, remington, and federal. i haven't tried anything else in it yet......
  6. even going back into the 60's. camaros, mustangs, and novas averaged around 3200-3400 pounds. todays camaros weigh nearly 4,000 pounds....todays mustangs weigh about 3600 to 3800 pounds depending on sub model and options.....i got a 99 camry setting out in the bay right now with a gvwr of 4180....that'd put this car at around 3500 pounds at the lightest. todays cars ain't no lightweights.......
  7. and consider that we've got a flying car that i think just got an lsa cert from the faa.........
  8. it can make a difference with a manual transmission.......
  9. Actually, many of todays cars are heavier than their fathers and grandfathers.

where? i didn't see anything about maleware?
  11. i learned on the mentioned station wagon, and my grand pops 67 mustang. i've had some form of mustang since 1979. during the heavy snows in the 80's i had my 69 chevy pickup, or my 83 mustang 5.0 to drive. at one point, i'd gotten rid of the 2x2 pickup and got a 1970 chevy 4x4. that thing was a beast. but i ended up getting rid of that. in the 90's i had my mustang(89 gt) or my 74 chevy pickup. i had the pickup during the blizzards we had in 93/94. with just tire chains i was able to drive that fairly easily, although many idiots in fwd vehicles kept messing up traffic. now i've got my expedition for this crap. she's a beast. not much seems to stop her. i can drive in snow with pretty heavy confidence, 'cause i can avoid the idiots rather easily.
  12. AND YET, i remember driving my grandmothers 1971 ford ranch wagon in shit worse than we had last year with no problems. now? get a couple inches, and these schmucks are bouncing their cars off of everything on the road, and landing in ditches. what the hell happened? how can it be worse when the cars are so much better?
  13. it's part of why i always say that if my truck comes out of the driveway, i'll come to work. i don't care if the roads are clear or not, this truck generally gets through nearly anything.
  14. went to bed last night around 12:30'ish. there was nothing coming outta the sky. woke up this morning, and if there's 2 inches, that may be pushing it. shit......i WISH i could make six figures, be wrong as often as these clowns are, and still make six figures.
  15. do you still have to log in to make comments? one fo those sites was wanting me to log in in, or accept third party cookies order to comment, and i'm not willing to do either.
  16. biometric......some people i think their fingerprints just don't read well. my mother had to have her prints re-done at morphotrak 'cause they didn't come through well. when she went back, they had trouble getting good ones.
  17. SO FAR, down here in cherry hill........flurries with wind.
  18. those are generally 4x4 or rear wheel drive........
  19. heh.......i dunno if we're really gonna get anything significant down here in camden county.....but i just test ran both the blower, and the generator.......

  23. do it, then if you wanna be paranoid about the pd hassling ya, keep a digital recorder on ya, and keep a dash cam running when you're driving. you should be covered with those.
