  1. Hmm.. I wonder what a glow in the dark, bionic pig Brett would look like. Well, at least he'd finally be bullet proof like Barry (and other Barry) EDIT: Oh, and THIS!
  2. With Kreiger around, can you be 100% certain of that?
  3. So, lets';s say... There's this woman, she's the executrix of her late sister's estate. Her late sister's husband owned a couple of shotguns and a rifle. There are no heirs to the estate and the estate is bequeathed to the executrix. The executrix wants to sell the guns. What does she have to do? Can a person who does not hold a FID sell or transfer a long gun to a person who DOES hold a FID?
  4. If someone cannot hit a target 10 yards away, even with a cyl or modified cyl choke, it is not the shotgun's fault.
  5. After dark everyone switches to lasers.
  6. choke tubes come into play when you are setting up for it's practical range, taking the size and type of shot you are using into consideration. Skeet, duck, goose, turkey, trap, they all have their own requirements. Different loads, different shooting distances.
  7. The Fugitive The Brady Bunch (just to see what a train wreck of social engineering it would be) Addam's Family. Battle of the Planets
  8. Remington 870, 200 year commemorative with A grade walnut, they are beautiful. It's like the 70's are here again, just for a short time, until the limited editions run out. Cabelas has them for $375.00 right now.
  9. Muzzle devices on a 5.56 carbine are over rated. Not that they do not have their useful purposes in competitions, but for the regular Joe Schmo, A target crown with a thread protector to make it a recessed target crown has worked pretty good for me. I was all set to build a M4 carbine with a 14.5" bbl, did all my homework on linear comps and in the end I decided it was just easier to go with a 16" bbl. Less hassle, more fps, more accuracy same barrel length.

  11. I just got back from Marine Park. No boats, no nothing, I was very surprised to see nobody walking or skating.
  12. If you are feeling bored and want to do something interesting today, check out the ice boat fleet at the North Shrewsbury Ice Boat & Yacht Club. You may also be able to see (or do) some ice skating and eel fishing too. EDIT: Don't bother going today. There is a lot of snow on the ice and apparently they don't sail on snow. I didn't even see eelers or ice skaters out there. The ice seemed very thick though, looked like at least a foot.
  13. This is Mrs. Z's build. Zeeke is pimping her out.
  14. As far as decorations go, $50.00 is pretty cheap for something that would look awesome on a wall. It probably has damascus barrels, so it's not really a shooter anyway. All those problems can be fixed, but good luck finding ammo that's safe to fire in it.
  15. uh huh. "your" larue upper?
  16. I think this is one of the videos I used when I was building mine. The guy shows you a few neat tricks to make the process easier. I didn't have to use a bunch of fancy tools either. I did buy a small brass and nylon hammer at HF though.
  17. Damn, how could I have forgotten. One for weddings.
  18. One for HD, one for skeet, one for trap, one for turkey, one for waterfowl, one for deer, one for upland game. At least.
  19. The wind is making the snow weird. Can see grass in some spots and 3' drifts in others. I don't even know if it's possible to take an accurate measurement.

  21. I'm trying to lock down a 308/ar-10 receiver set before the new commissar takes over. PA has a Matrix stripped upper and lower set on sale for $180. Matrix seems to have been around a while but I can't find many reviews on their products. Anyone here use them?
