  1. Wow at that brief - nice work - once you put the numbers on paper, it is amazing and really will shock people. As been said before, a lot of non gun people think that citizens are allowed to carry with a permit. As we know though, that has always been false.
  2. Nope - not when Glocks are easier to get than a book from a library.
  3. ^^Agreed - which is why we are saying the 500 permits does not include the standard non restricted RPO / LEOSA - those would be exempt from this figure - Armed security would be restricted that is a 100% given - like I said, MAYBE a handful of that number - The rest of the permits issued last year (98-99% of the 500 figure) you can bet your ass are well connected politicians, political figures, judges, etc.
  4. ^Yep - so the 500 is judges, politicans, and Co. - i'm guessing maybe a handful of armed guards, at the most.
  5. Damn gun show loopholes and necessity for universal background checks!! Ugh gets me so mad Isn't Sweeney from South Jersey? He carries, why didn't he save the day?
  6. Exactly as I thought - so maybe a few security guards "during business hours only" or a few PI's - but they are probably retired LEO anyway - I would imagine mostly "connected people" and with the amount of major city councils, legislature, etc, thats the majority of it - To put it in perspective, 500 out of 9M people is 0.00555555555556 or 1 in 18,000 people
  7. Yep you definitely should not be moving out of NJ - Gang Bangers I'm sure are going onto SGAmmo, etc and ordering by the case "wholesale" - heck, they may even get a bulk discount if they order enough! Many sites require an FID because our state is absolutely retarded - lot of gang bangers in the south and midwest I'm sure go to Walmart to get their ammo where they only need a driver license. ^^Agreed - I don't need that type of thinking where I move lol
  8. DYING AS I THOUGHT THE SAME - Have also heard this from dumb ding bat citizens as well, the same ones that say "well in Montana I understand but there is just too many people around" - which is also usually followed right afterwards by stories about how they are "scared" of guns because they might "accidentally go off" In bold I fixed it for your Trenton Democrat - and in bolt/italics I am actually surprised he looked in his thesaurus so he could use a different phrase than "common sense gun control" - again, very concerned about firearms getting into the "wrong hands" yet all the felons and gangbangers usually don't possess an FPID let alone would apply for a carry permit. The way they speak Mr. Jo Schmo Crip himself is packin his gat with mad heat and "9 clips" in his belt but wants to flash that CCW if the POlice come to the scene of one of his crimes.
  9. ^This is accurate - my buddy from NJSP I think told me 463 permits total issued last year (2015) - I do NOT believe that includes retired LEO - they get their own permit which is valid in 50 states on a federal level (someone correct me if I'm wrong) - it does include our politically connected friends - in a state of almost 9 million and if there are no LEO on that list, WOW, peanuts.
  10. Gorgeous. For the price rock island is hard to beat!
  11. Sure I'll let them put a photo on it Just vote with Christie's veto of A3689 so that we are a shall issue state, you can put a big smiling picture on my FPID then
  12. I also like how they call deciding to not call a vote on his vetoes "grandstanding" by the governor - self protection for citizens is seen as a political move? Funny but not so much. Obviously the legislature has no obligation to take up the vetoes for a vote and can just let it die - but I wouldn't be going on the other breath and calling it grandstanding. Sure maybe vetoing property taxes completely in this state would be, not in this case. But that's how progressives talk and they engage - by shrugging off major steps towards a citizenry less dependent on government. "What do you mean, every cab driver should be able to have a gun? Preposterous!" - which is why I say we need to point out hypocrisy of those who would laugh off something like this which directly impacts our rights - Sweeney's CCW, little girl in Camden murdered, etc - If we use their language against them ("common sense" shall-issue for crime reduction, "common sense" since 47 other states allow carry for citizens) then maybe people will wake up and realize 95% of the land in the USA allows carry - its just the other 5% stuck in a bubble.
  13. Reposting this from the HK Pistol thread because it cracks me up every time
  14. I think the billboard in Sweeney and Weinberg's districts would help - As well if someone can tie in the 8 year old girl shot in Camden - maybe people in gang ridden neighborhoods should be able to defend themselves against thugs? Would love to hear Sweeney's thoughts on letting little girls die because of his selfishness. You need to use the progressive/Democrat talking points against them. "IF IT CAN ONLY SAVE ONE LIFE"
  15. Did anyone from the boards tweet Bill Spadia or Eric Scott from 101.5? It would be interesting to bring up to CC on the air and have him put some fire under Sweeney for the hypocrisy, I know Spadia is a pretty conservative guy and he'd have a field day I'm not on Twitter but this is a good strategy - Is it too bold to email the entire legislature and blind copy a Jersey media personality like Bill Spadea and point out in your letter to the legislature urging their support, and also pointing out hypocrisy from Sweeney, et al? Does Weinberg have a CCW too? LOL
  16. I liked the idea with using #sweeney bc someone said it would come up in all Twitter searches then. And absolutely tag @bill spadia and @nj1015 and even tag @govchristie because obviously CC knows that Sweeney is a fucking hypocrite. Maybe #sweeney #cancarryinNJ #justnotthecommonfolk Or something to that effect. I really feel that the aspect of making him sound like a huge douche because he thinks he is above the rest of NJ citizens could gain some traction
  17. Is it just me or is Stephen like a lawyer sent from heaven? Based on his posts I owe him a ton of beers and support.
  18. I emailed him and have been on vacation but I hope to call him - he lives in Denville I'm sure is all over this
  19. ^yes he does. It's well known and several other prominent Jerseyans (politicians etc) - I think Springsteen was mentioned which I didn't know about but it surprises me.
  20. A few thousand people asking would take him a lot of time to ignore and block. Or fellow Republicans in the legislature asking would be awkward if he blocked.
  21. I fucking double dare all you assholes to tweet Sweeney directly and ask him how his CC permit is treating him. "Just not for the citizens right?"
