  1. I'm a little astonished at the opinions surmised here, purely based on tattoo's, and beards. There are many police officers in the state of in NJ that have full sleeves. Our Presidents have had beards in the not so distant past. Would you have a different opinion of Law enforcement because of their tattoos and beards? There are quite a few cops in my gym with full sleeves, And beards...
  2. Cory, The Scar is not cheap. Buy the AR15 and several thousand rounds of ammo, and go shoot with it. Then get the scar and or get a 458 socom upper for it later. You'll be happy you did.
  3. Never mind! Found it and sadly it's discontinued!
  4. "Description The EPSILON 556SL is the ideal muzzle brake for 14.5" rifle builds. Featuring an outside diameter of .745", the EPSILON 556SL can be pinned and welded to your barrel while still allowing full maintenance and removal of your gas block without having to remove the muzzle device. The EPSILON 556SL utilizes a new aggressive chamber design that improves gas flow and reduces felt recoil significantly. It also features deep channel cuts that greatly reduce the overall weight toward the front end of your build. Slim in design does not mean slim in performance. Users can still expect the same great performance they have grown to trust from VG6 Precision muzzle brakes. With the EPSILON 556SL, you have the optimal solution for a lightweight, legal (when pinned and welded) and flat shooting 14.5" Rifle Build." - Nothing in the Epsilon slim description says its a flash hider or even mentions its flash hiding capabilities unless of course they modified it. Either way- It is now advertised as a straight brake..... ? I'd say, thread it on there!
  5. Stagarms.com is having a sale on metal 10/30 pinned mags for $15 each.
  6. Busy at work- lol edited the post - trying to multitask and failing!
  7. Just found it. Phase 5 Tactical Universal Mini Stock (UMS). It locks down with two screws. (Should've looked at the picture but I'm fumbling around at work) it's the Rear hole (duh) that's a PITA without the longer Allen key!! *** They do provide one with it, but after installing, shooting, removing and reinstalling, I realized it's in the toolbox with the other 500 allen keys I have. ... Lol.
  8. I do like that pad - I had the full BAD sabertube and while I liked it, I did not like the fact that BAD used a proprietary qd mount / endplate specifically for the sabertube. I wanted to keep the regular milspec 6 position tube. I may get just that butt pad in the near future. I forgot the name of this buttplate I used and have, but it did come loose once or twice. Should've used a dab of blue loctite but didn't have any on hand and just ended up switching to the elf.
  9. I didn't like the knob it came with and contacted Elf about threading/length for the screw and he recommended that length and it fit perfectly and stays in place. I also got mine for $99.
  10. Blurry pic as it's zoomed in and cropped from the original pic to highlight the stock. I used a red sharpie to accent the bolt/screw... can take a better picture for you later. PK90- its light, fits the shoulder well, is NJ compliant without visiting a smith for pinning, and is visually appealing. I keep mine all the way forward as I like a short(er) stock.
  11. I have one. I used this: 10-32 x 1" Button Head Torx Security Machine Screw Bolt Screws Stainless Steel Tamper Resistant I was told this would be considered fixed in place as it would require a specific tool to remove as told by an FFL. The stock does not move while screwed in place obviously. Would prefer some others opinions as well. The law states: no folding or collapsible stocks... this stock is obviously neither once the screw is put in. That was the FFL's thought and it seems to meet the definition once a screw/bolt is installed.
  12. That fine. When you count how many rebuttals and or questions the judge had for the plaintiff compared to the defendant, you'll see how irregular the conversation was. Any valid points were clearly a forethought. Its over, mail em out. or bury em.
  13. Listening to it now. The judge is VERY dismissive to the plaintiffs argument. Its pretty disgusting actually.
  14. Look, I want Large Capacity Magazine training. What's the cost? What if I already have it and can reload under 8 seconds? Does the state of NJ give me free mags then for qualifying? Where do I sign?
  15. Gee! Not full semi auto spray with reduced large capacity 15rd banana clips. oh heavens. Maybe NJ will force it's citizens to under go SF Operator Reload Training for 15rd'ers some of us might legally own and time and tax us for training so those who can reload in under 8 seconds can keep em! I wonder how much cash was thrown at Mr. Operator for his statement. If he truly believes this, he is an embarrassment to that community. Their argument is null and void even with Operators statement. It's interesting to me how they even pulled this from left field from a defense stand point. It runs counter to the obvious need for standard capacity magazines because reloads take so long. /facepalm
  16. So the defense got some operator guy, to counter argue that inexperienced NJ citizens need extensive training in 15rd mags. Am I reading this correctly? That doesn't even make any sense. That to me clearly says if you are inexperienced, you're going to need 8-10 seconds to reload. And that because it takes 8-10 seconds to reload, we would some how need extensive training in large capacity magazines? uhm, I'm not a rocket scientist, but that's almost proves that you NEED high capacity magazines for self defense because a reload could take a very long time in a life threatening situation. Also, if what I am understanding is correct, why do civilians in 42/43 states that have standard mag (no) capacity require no extensive training. Someone want to clarify this please? Maybe my comprehension is at a 5th grade level.
  17. So it's mid August... what was the date of the possible injunction?
