  1. You're completely forgetting about the volume of rifles that are owned. Even the basic Ruger 10/22, which many people own, originally came with a 25, then we got neutered to 15, now 10. Just about every semi-auto rifle sold takes a mag that's 10+. Plus, most mid size and larger semi-auto 22, 9mm, .40 handguns take double stack mags that are 10+ It's a lot wider of an issue than you think.
  2. Sandy was a localized event that only lasted a week for most people. Plus, we had days advanced notice to be prepared. An EMP, even if localized, would catch people off guard and unprepared, and would last longer than a week to get fixed, even if there were any immediate repairs that could be done. In many places, electronics would be fried, to NEVER restart. You think a multi-state EMP would have no effect on the nation?
  3. I can't argue with that, sounds reasonable to me. But this is the Communist state of NJ, so I don't think THEY remember what the constitution actually is.
  4. Probably because of this line in the application: Each person applying for a Permit to Carry a Handgun must supply a letter of need, specific in content, as to why they have a need to carry a firearm in the State of New Jersey. If this application is employment-related, then your employer must supply this letter. List the reason for this application: That is the deciding factor. Who gets to decide if it's an appropriate reason or need?
  5. She should match it up with this, would make a nice combo:
  6. Maybe there's an issue with that kit? I have a propane only, and it starts on the second pull, the first pull is more of a primer pull. Propane needs a different type of prime than gas.
  7. A little off topic, but relevant to this discussion is that dog eat dog mentality and how the "sheep" completely collapse when the most simplest things fail. Wells Fargo has had outage issues the past day, and the "sheep" can't access the bank from their phone app and some debit cards have been denied. Go to this link and read through the comment, and even the Tweets the people have posted, to see the panic and unpreparedness of the majority. Most don't even carry or have cash available for situations like this: https://downdetector.com/status/wells-fargo Read those tweets, and you'll know why you need to be personally prepared!
  8. Not unproven, tests go back to the 60's. It's definitely a proven weapon. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet_Project_K_nuclear_tests How much do you think the technology has been improved since the 60's?
  9. Incorrect, you certainly can. They are no different then a gas generator. They have traditional pull cords, just like a lawnmower. Why do you say you can't hand crank them. The only difference is propane is a gas not a liquid in the carb.

  11. Ha... that was going to be my next post. Grab a car alternator and a rototiller, and you'll be able to rig up a charging system that will charge batteries and run 12 volt lights.
  12. Here's the link to the PDF, this should be read by EVERYONE!!! https://epdf.tips/one-second-afterb57f885b34b4c266285e7e07d035da1197724.html I read it on a plane trip a few years ago, very interesting, will hopefully make you think.... and PREP!
  13. History is your friend, happy reading. Ever hear of the Carrington Event? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_storm_of_1859 Propane generators, not diesel or gas.
  14. I think they are already here. Can you apply the CWD to the Liberal brains wandering around the country?
  15. Where do we mail the bill for the consultation fee?
  16. What does bear meat taste like?
  17. Some additional information that came out today. Seems ICE has their Hoover out and is doing some "vacuuming" in the area recently. HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. (WTVD) - Officials with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement are confirming to ABC11 the continuation of near-daily "targeted immigration arrests" of undocumented immigrants in North Carolina, including the reported detention of six people in Wake County. El Pueblo, an immigration advocacy group in North Carolina, tells ABC11 that three of those detained in Wake County were arrested in Holly Springs, and additional raids Wednesday brought at least a dozen more immigrants into ICE custody from Charlotte, Durham and Burlington. Wednesday's reported raids follow a busy Tuesday for federal law enforcement in the Triangle: ICE agents took custody of 27 individuals working at a manufacturing company in Sanford. According to ICE officials, 25 of those arrested were identified through criminal search warrants. "ICE does not conduct any type of random or indiscriminate enforcement," Bryan Cox, a spokesman for ICE, asserts to ABC11. "The agency focuses first and foremost on criminal offenders and other public safety threats." On Wednesday, Cox also provided new data to the ABC11 I-Team showing 15,189 arrests of undocumented immigrants by the Atlanta Field Office, which covers Georgia and the Carolinas. Among those detained, 9,490 (62 percent) were convicted of criminal offenses, while 4,464 (29 percent) were first detained by local law enforcement on other pending charges. https://abc11.com/i-team-ice-arrests-reportedly-continue-wednesday-across-nc/5123932/
  18. Well, then clarify, how do you scare off guys that are trying to break into your car at night with audio?
  19. So, you have a external motion activated siren that goes off every time the UPS guy or mailman (or the neighbor's dog) passes your car in the driveway? Who said it was a deterrent? Reading comprehension. Video is used to CATCH the dudes, and in the majority of the time, it IS repeat offenders in town.
  20. But even in the case of a hoodie, if you have the video, 9 out of 10 times the cops will recognize them. They're usually repeat offenders or the cops have run into them before. Video evidence is way better than any audible alarm system.
  21. That's what I would think too. Based on reports that illegals flood that area for work, I would guess they hire a lot more. One of the reports said that ICE actually pulled 70 people in for examination, but then only removed 30. So did that other 40 have really good forgeries and fraudulent docs? If it was ITAR, is it possible they were looking a certain parts of the manufacturing processes that they were exposed to? Like ICE wasn't worrying about floor sweepers, just machinists, etc?
