TacticalLawyer 2 Posted January 23 Anyone have any experience with the 1 moa SRO? Is the dot easy enough to find? Do you need to crank the brightness up to be able to pick it up quickly?
Mr.Stu 1,930 Posted January 23 Assuming you're putting it on a handgun, get the 5moa version. 1moa is more suited to a long gun. A larger dot is more visible at lower brightness which leads to less starburst effect or glare. Also consider practical accuracy. 1moa is ¼ inch at 25 yards. What's your group size at 25 yards? 5moa is 1¼ inches. I'll bet that is still a good deal more precise than your shooting ability. On my USPSA match gun, I run a 10moa c-more. It works great, even for tricky shots at distance.
