NJ Coyote Hunting

Anyone have any success with hunting Coyote in NJ or any immediate surrounding areas?

Was looking into how to obtain a rifle permit, but I can't seem to find much clear info. Is it as si ple as paying the $2 and receiving it? Or is there a course/live fire involved?

The rifle permit is just an add-on to your hunting license. No separate course required.

Yup I see. Looks like right now you can only purchase the 2023-2024 permit still. I assume won't be able to purchase 24-25 season permit until July.
