Nope. The residency exclusion clause would have prevented you from carrying in your state of residency without a state ccw permit, if applicable.

Simple answer No. In the original wording of the bill, it was a very good possibility, but they changed it and closed the loophole so you had to be issued one from your home state. You could have carried in 49 other states, just not ours. We actually have a better chance of getting repeals and making CCW a possibility in NJ after the incorporation case later this year in the Supreme Court.
