Permit for uppers?

Recommended Posts

No, not drugs.

I was looking to mix and match a Beretta 92fs, and I know that a permit is needed for the frame. I was wondering if a permit is also needed for a complete upper, which would be purchased separately.

Thanks for your help, and Merry Christmas!

I'm lurking around trying to find a second pistol to keep my PX4 F 9mm company. I wouldn't say that I have small hands, but I'm using the smallest backstrap on the PX4 with a Hogue grip.

The 92FS is at the top of my wishlist (along w/ a Baby Eagle, 75B, FNP-9) and the grip is fine to hold, it's just that it seems a bit too unwieldy when I have to press the mag release. The slimmer Vertec grip I think is more to my liking.

That being said, 92 Vertecs are few and far between, but I may have found a frame to snatch now, and worry about the upper at a later date (preferably an INOX).

Anyway, once I convince the wife that I, I mean WE, need another pistol, I should be good to go.
