i was looking at an older factory certified 229. what caliber is your friends 229?

Its in .40SW, specifically its the P229R. Long story short, but he actually has another P229 on order-- though it'll take some time for it to come in. He ran across a deal for a P229 that he couldn't pass up, and I basically convinced him to get it. Since the town he does his paperwork in is mighty quick, by the time the one month goes by (OGAM), he should have his new permits and his order should arrive... and maybe I can work out a deal to buy this 229 from him! (My permits should be coming in any day now.)

 

This is a recent model, though I don't remember for sure. Only bought in the last year, and has less then 100 rounds through it.

Hi NJ-Tom, that is what I am looking for. I would have to apply for a permit and get that before we could do anything which could be months. I am interested but I don't know how long you are willing to wait or if you are trying to sell it asap. pm the price if you don't mind.

Hi Chad, I have a P220 Euro style, will the mags you have work in this gun?
