Zell959 40 Posted April 1, 2010 Anyone else catch it? Some real entertaining firearms stuff. One myth tested was that phone books can be used to bullet proof a car and it proved to be a very fun watch. I found them a bit quick to call it busted when the phone books showed obvious signs of being bullet resistant in small tests. But what made the episode was final test: Three cast memebers used high powered rifles to try and assasinate a "family" of blow up dolls sitting inside a van covered in phonebooks & being driven via remote control. The van's attempt to get clear was halted when Kari scored a .50BMG hit to the engine block. Teh driver took a headshot from a .338 Lapua not long after that. Best TV I've watched in a while And yes, they got plenty of terms wrong, but that kinds stuff doesn't usually bother me unless it actually undercuts their testing methods.
