Has anyone ever had the car break down while transporting?

My car randomly died on the way to the range yesterday, but started back up with no problem. Made me wonder what happens if you break down or are in an accident? what do you do with your guns to remain legal?

Be smart about it?

 

If you are involved in an accident, inform the police officer. Chances are if you're in good shape, he'll let you place the guns whatever vehicle you're leaving in. If you are seriously injured, who cares. Guns can be replaced.

 

If the car breaks down, don't lose possession. They go with you. Call someone for a ride, put 'em in the trunk of a Taxi..whatever. Don't let them out of your sight.

you don't HAVE to be the driver, it doesnt have to be YOUR car.. or anything strange like that.. so someone would pick you up.. and you would transport them per NJ law..
