Yoi don't need a permit, but if you ask TJ sporting arms or other suppliers, you may be able to get it cheaper than the $399 on the coupon.

 

Also, be prepared to wait for that upper. Sig generally doesn't have them in stock. If you choose to go through Sig, you can call and order over the phone, you don't have to send it in.

Actually for whatever reason mine came with a coupon for $299. I think they must have recently changed the price (I only got it 4 weeks ago)

For $299 that is a deal and a half.
