chris327 30 Posted November 8, 2010 im wondering if a redfield illuminator is any good? not sure of a model or how to tell any specs about it. it was purchased with a new rem 700 in the late 80s. it has not been used except for a few times a recently took the rifle out. it has sat in the safe since purchased until maybe 2 years ago. Is this scope any good? i am thinking about selling the rifle and not sure if i should sell the scope too. i shoot 22lr and a bushmaster 223 so i dont know if i have any use for it. what do you guys think? is it worth selling or what is it even worth. or what could i use it on because i have no need on a 22lr with this score. thanks chris

chris327 30 Posted November 8, 2010 tony what do you think about putting this on a xm-15. what would i need bracket wise to do so?
tony357 386 Posted November 8, 2010 you need to ready your upper for scope rings..most are weaver style.. I just mounted my redfield on the bushmaster til the scope i want for it comes in, mine already had the weaver mounts on the flat top..
