mossberg plinkster in ar trim

At cabelas today on the way from hershey park. Saw a new mossberg ar 22 in the rack. The sales guy said its the mossberg plinkster just in ar trim. Was cheap under 300 anyone shot one ?

Plinksters suck, for that kind of money get a 10/22. Look up the reviews on the plinkster, they are quite negative. Dressing it up as an AR? Dressing a piece of crap up like another piece of crap, interesting lol.

From the reviews ive found, you are correct junk. Friend is looking for a 22 ar...thought this was another option

Everyone I know that purchased one sold it in disgust. Mossberg makes shotguns! LOL

I have a 702 plinkster. The regular old plinkster. Its ok for $100. But i would not get it again. Theres better 22s out there for 100 bucks than this one. I have jams with any brand ammo in it even cci. and only 10 round mags available. Just not something i would get another one of. But not worth selling might as well keep as a cheap plinker because thats all it is, a cheap plinker.

i have a regular 702 and its a total POS, I even sent i back to Mossberg to have it fixed they put a whole new barrel on it and it still jams like crazy. I really want to find somewhere to sell it, but i doubt anyone would buy it.

 

i hear the AR is just the same gun with a different stock
