tanghan 1 Posted October 25, 2011 Hi, I'm reaching out to NJGFers for a little fitting job on my slide release lever for sig P226. I bought one from topgunsupply.com The bottom of it is a little too much. They told me I have to file it a little to fit it in. I also need to cut the most of the release button off so that it won't cause failure of locking back for last round because my right thumb rests on it by accident. I can pay up to $10. Please let me know if you are close to Hudson county area. thanks!
bry@n 195 Posted October 25, 2011 I have to say that there has never been a need for me to fit a slide release lever on a sig. I have bought several and never had an issue. I also deal with TGS a lot. Can you take a pic and post what your talking about. where is the bottom your talking about, the bottom where the thumb would release or the bottom that goes through the trigger pin? I also would recommend you change your grip slightly rather than cutting the lever. If your ever down by great adventure, I can help.
