Walther p22 target question

Hello all,

 

I have a Walther P22 target, I’ve only shot it a hand full of times. However I dont like the extended barrel. I guess what Im asking is if there is a way to just remove the target piece or do I have to buy the conversion kit for $120. If I have to by the kit it may be cheaper to just sell or trade it for a non-target version or maybe a 9mm.

I believe the Target version has a 5" barrel vs a 3.4 for the regular. I think you will need to get the new barrel. You would probably trade a barrel with someone who wanted the Target version.

It's the 120 buck swap. It's a good little pistol in either configuration. The longer one really isn't that much more accurate but you do get a little longer sight picture..
