revenger 473 Posted February 26, 2012 Hello, Can anyone recommend a family camp ground Somewhere in PA. that has row boat rentals, fishing and swimming for the kids. I would like it to have private sites where I can park my van and walk to the lake as well as a place for the wife to wash up. I'm only interested in gun friendly states, If you know any in another gun friendly state that too would be considered. also preferibily a private campground vs. a state park. THanks

THanks Maine is really big on that kind of thing. It's a lot more like NJ (in a good way) than PA is during summertime. Similar ponds and lakes, terrain, flora and fauna (ignoring the moose and wolves). Of course it has it's own twist. But, yeah, that kind of stuff is big up there. And a lot cheaper. Tom-NJ2AS 31 Posted February 27, 2012 Jimmy hit the nail on the head. I grew up camping at otter lake, oak creek, spring gulch, hell all of them. By far the best was otter lake!!!
