i hate to dredge this stuff up from the dead, but is it or is it not new jersey legal? last thread on this was kind of up in the air?

PLR-16

 

B. a semi-automatic pistol that has an ability to accept a detachable magazine and has at least 2 of the following:

 

1. an ammunition magazine that attaches to the pistol outside of the pistol grip;
   
2. a threaded barrel capable of accepting a barrel extender, flash suppressor, forward handgrip, or silencer;
   
3. a shroud that is attached to, or partially or completely encircles, the barrel and that permits the shooter to hold the firearm with the nontrigger hand without being burned;
   
4. manufactured weight of 50 ounces or more when the pistol is unloaded; and
   
5. a semi-automatic version of an automatic firearm;
   

 

Red - Can never be complied with

1. Mag well is outside of the grip.

4. Manufactured weight is 3.42lbs, which is 54.7oz.

 

Blue - Can be complied with

2. Barrel is threaded, but you could pin + weld a brake or crown, not a flash hider though.

 

2 evil features, it's illegal.

 

PLR-22

Should be legal so long as you pin + weld something that isn't a flash suppressor. Also would need pinned mags, since it comes with 26 rounders.

No attaching the forend accessories though, most likely. Rails would likely be construed as a shroud.
