Msar stg5.56

Recommended Posts

Tough call. I have a STG myself. Its fun to shoot and looks supertacticool.

Thing is MSAR screwed themselves over and are no longer in biz. So that means no more spare parts. If you are going to keep it, I'd get a spare parts kit and the Ratworx hybrid bolt that takes AR extractors and springs. That will keep it going for a long long time.

The flip-side is that they are not quite collectible yet, and from what I can tell, people aren't willing to shell out the bucks for a non-collectable gun that takes proprietary parts and which the company that makes them is no longer doing so.

Personally I'd either continue to keep it unfired... as a gamble for a future investment when/if it does become a collectible. Or start shooting it and have a good time with it.

Once I move out of NJ, I'm getting a Steyr Aug.

I have been following the MSAR trend for 2-3 years and the MSARs,unfortunately, do not hold value, so shoot it. The real Augs hold value and are quite expensive.

Back to MSAR---The E4 models are more desired over the STG models.

Msar is actually in business. Ive been following them to for awhile because ive been lusting over an aug for sometime and it seems like the next best thing. Rest assured though they are still in business and i believe they are set to release the next batch of stg-e4's on september 1st.
