pitt1717 0 Posted December 5, 2012 So i went to my local PD and got my paper work for my first firearm. started to go through and was going to register online to get my fingerprints done. as i was going through i got to box 7 of the form (contributors case number). it was empty so i called the PD to see if they can give this to me. i was told i should go down and speak to the Detective who gave me the paper work. Sucks cause i can't get there till next week and i think he's off on monday (my day off too), so im gonna try to get this squared away on tuesday. sorry for the rant, just want to get this done (little excited)

pitt1717 0 Posted December 5, 2012 ??? im new so little confused... the first sheet is for finger printing which my town doesn't do. have to go to a third party place to get it down. so they are the ones i have to hand this into i believe
Steve_G 51 Posted December 5, 2012 fill out all the paperwork and let them fill it in when you drop it off.. I believe Morpho Trak requires that number to schedule the finger printing appointment.
Clintoon Eastwood 2 Posted December 5, 2012 What happened NOW? you got the paperwork to fill out??? Anyways, you got the application....so fill it out, make an appointment with the detective and believe me it's hard to get a hold of him. You do some fingerprinting at the station and bring a check. Then He tells you to get fingerprinted again at morpho trak in whatever one is closest to you. You can use a credit card. Then morpho trak will email the info to the detective, you don't need to call the detective, but it doesn't hurt to follow up a couple days after getting fingerprinted to check if they got your morpho trak. Then here comes the HARDEST PART, the long.... I mean very long wait..... 50 plus days average depends on the town.
