Eezox observation

Placed Eezox on my Sig 226 then placed it in the pistol safe about a month ago. Took it apart last night and noticed the top rail was bone dry while the bottom rail (it was resting on) was shiny. Needless to say I got the grease out and lightly coated the rails! So much for its claim that it doesn't creep.

I bought it haven't used it yet, they recommend to "lightly coat" I guess that's the reason why..

It was. I also called them and discussed it. They said the shine was fine as long as it wasn't tacky. It was slick when I touched it. While it may work as a good lube right after applied I'm not sure I'm comfortable with it sitting now.

My other thought is that it is probably a good idea to flip the gun to the other side every few weeks.
