My father-in-law has a 92ds (double action only) he wants to sell or trade for my wife's m&p shield.

What is it worth? 

Any opinions on dao? (i'm not crazy about it)

It's in great cond,prob 15+ yr old

An average price on a Beretta 92D is somewhere around $350.00 - $375.00

again, depends upon the condition.

 

That being said - a guns worth is not judged by the opinion of those who do not like

it (shooters who don't care for DOA guns) but by those who like that sort of action.

 

The 92D was a very well made gun, shoots accurate (in general) but does have the

typical long trigger pull of a DOA gun.

 

I see M&P shields going for $350.00 - $400.00 as well so I cannot say one is worth more 

than the other - just depends the buyers preference.....................
