So now that ive had my cleaning lady steal from us. I was in my garage stripping and cleaning a marlin 39 as 60's model and a stevens 335 side by side that i just acquired for 150 $. Yesss im happy with that.It made me think of when i was 20 ish and we were broken into. Aside from jewlery and electronics, i had missing a marlin 39as golden 410 bolt mossberg and a 12 gauge auto. Every year since for about ten years i had the pd call to see if igot it back yet and every year the answer was no. As if if the burgulars were to return it and say "ive changed my ways and i repent. Here are your things back!!?" Yeah. Hello. So what does happen to these weapons? Are they researched,classified and destroyed. So where the hell is my marlin. I could pick off an ant at fifty yards with that thing. The one i got from the insurance money cant compare to my original. After all this time i still think about that marlin and the accuracy. It was unbelievable. So where are these weapons going? Overseas gunbroker. Armslist. Who knows.
