The Bull Dog

Recommended Posts

A friend brought this family heirloom by looking for information.

It's pretty rusty but he got it somewhat operational.

He was wondering if it was worth anything.

Any ideas?

I couldn't find much on the internet.

The picture on the side says "TRADE MARK" above and "LONDON TOWER" below.

The top strap says "THE TOWER BULL DOG" on top and "FOR 450 CENTERFIRE CARTRIDGE"

on the side.

So, that's probably a late 1800s Webley Bulldog.

If that's the case, it's not super valuable in and of itself, but it's still a pretty nice piece.

You should have your friend take ot somewhere to get it evaluated.
