Howard 538 Posted January 8, 2016 These are kind of cool, smoked color clear Glock G17 and G19 Magazines:
High Exposure 5,671 Posted January 8, 2016 Who makes them? Are they reliable?
NEHackettstown 21 Posted January 8, 2016 www.etsgroup.us sells them for $16.99+$5.00 shipping. 15 round G19
Howard 538 Posted January 8, 2016 I only just got them today, from above source, so can't tell you too much about them. A friend of mine suggested them and he has used them with no issues. Their AR-15 mags have a good rep, but these are new. I was told that EST has dropped them from a 10 foot ladder fully loaded many times and had no issues. They come with a lifetime warranty if they ever do crack. Not sure I would use them for critical duty, but at the range or even a local club match I would be fine with them. Polak 3 Posted January 8, 2016 I've had them for a while and still haven't had a chance to use them. No G19 in my possession
PD2K 115 Posted January 9, 2016 I must admit...looks pretty cool. I've personally never heard of the company or magazine reliability. I'd pass only because Magpul is a more established company and their Glock Pmags are cheaper.
High Exposure 5,671 Posted January 9, 2016 I don't see the need for a clear mag that gets fully inserted into an opaque pistol grip. The utility of knowing what's left in the mag is eliminated because you can't see through the grip. That being said, they are $10 cheaper than a Glock OEM mag, so if they are reliable, I would get some. I am looking forward to getting some Magpul Glock PMags to try out as well.
