Best AR scope for hunting AND target around $500?

I'm looking to throw a scope on my Bushmaster M4. I'll be using the rifle to hunt big and small game and using it to target shoot (not competitive).

 

Can anyone suggest a scope in the $500 range that will perform beautfiully for my needs?

You hunt big game with a M4, don't think so. You have Leupold scopes in your range $$$, i have one 3X9X40, works great, if you put a 10X is only good for long range, won
