  1. I am quite interested in this... esp if there is a 22lr match. How far away is the wood? entrance fee?
  2. Had a different experience with Springfield. Verified with ATF. If firearm goes from you directly to mfr, they have to send it back through ffl. otherwise, if you send through ffl, it is logged and can go to you. that was what i was told by atf and springfield
  3. so am I. =) Just submitted the online claim. Hoping we only have to mail in the slide. As otherwise, they wont be mail the complete handgun to us back, and have to go to FFL.
  4. Info below. http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/ ... onId=10506 Smith & Wesson has identified a condition that may exist in certain model 22-A pistols. Based on our ongoing product review, we have determined that the slides of certain pistols manufactured from August 1, 2008 to February 19, 2009, may not meet the design specification. This can create a situation where insufficient headspace exists creating a risk of unintended discharge. This recall applies only to 22-A pistols manufactured from August 1, 2008 to February 19, 2009. Affected pistols fall within the following serial number range: UBW0000 - UBW9999 UBY0000 - UBY4104
  5. that website just does not list them all. Try finding your towns website, and there should be a link on there to the town regulations.

  7. what show was this? Are they there tomorrow? Brother wants to go.
  8. kinda sexy, reminds me of the kel tecs.
  9. No discharge for East and West Windsors. Exception to Citizens rifle and revolver club.
  10. very nice and welcome to the forum!
  11. Here we go again. =) Actually, I really like it. I shot wolfy's when he was at the range and it was quite awesome. the only thing once again is if you want a carbine or a rifle. the beretta is great, but at todays prices, 800+, just seems a bit steep. Once again, factor in glass, accessories, quite a bit more expensive. I know many people on here would suggest buying a Hipoint C9? carbine, replace the stock with an ATI stock, and you have a descent looking carbine that looks like a storm, but for around $400. and yes, they are supposed to be reliable.
  12. Because at $550 plus, you are more than halfway to an AR. Because if you get the GSG, you will spend even more in accessories, mags, scope mounts, etc. Because you will go through alot more ammo..... ALOT more. Did i say ALOT more?

  14. Welcome! Why do you say it will take 6 months? Dont have your FID? Quite a few of us are from central jersey and reguarly shoot around the area! Look forward to the questions.
  15. Wait... not every bike is a Jixxer or a bussa?
  16. Since the age of reason, I was always calling firearms what they are, firearms, rifles, handguns, shotguns, etc. Was reading an email from a NJ senator, calling firearms weapons. Isnt that a bit.... naive? I mean, what about kitchen knives, automobiles, bats, water? You dont go to your local Ford dealership to pick up a Ford F150 weapon in blue, we dont go to Walmart to the kitchen aisle to look for steak weapons. You dont go to Dicks sporting goods to buy a Louiville Weapon. When does a firearm or anything else become a weapon? why do some people just call all firearms a weapon? Heck, even some forums call them straight out weapons.
  17. wiki? wow. For me, it was my brother, and just little things picked up from everyone over the years.
  18. Here is a question that always popped into my head. With all of the hoping for CCW, most states require formal training for one, or at least should. In NJ, you dont need to show any proof of training to receive your Firearms ID card, so how did you learn to shoot? Moreso, who went out and received formal training from the likes of Anthony (GunforHire) or Mitch(High Calibre Firearms Training).
  19. Welcome Ed. Plenty of people here from north Jersey that shoot at the bullet hole. how did you find the forum?
  20. About Michael Weston. He was a former spy who got burned by the government. Now he is trying to figure who burned him, and every episode he gets a client that he helps.... sS2ogRkE1yA SHv-iRXqSJg
  21. not bad at all. really wondering where they are going to go with the show this season. I highly suggest you watch the first few seasons if you havent.
