  1. I prefer these, I like 2 pc bases. http://www.midwayusa.com/Product/129972/talley-lightweight-2-piece-scope-mounts-with-integral-1-rings-remington-700-matte-medium
  2. That is where common sense and the ability to use tools come in. Knowing the different strengths of loctite help. It all comes down to your comfort level when working on guns.
  3. I load at a comfortable pace. I do not try to crank out as many as I can as fast as I can. My guns are worth more than an extra 100 rds. I average 300/hr on my SDB. sometimes more, sometimes less depending on caliber. You think 9mm is a pain try loading 380.
  4. Why send it back when all you need to do is tighten a nut and add loctite?
  5. Yes and yes. If you can not find one I have 1 I could sell. I prefer the older 22's with wood and blued steel over the plastic and blackened steel you get today.
  6. I made the tool in under 5 mins with a $1.97 3/4 in pvc pipe from Home Depotand my dremel. You need only cut 2 tabs to do it. If you want to after you remove the nut you can trace the 4 tabs needed from it.
  7. I saw Star Wars in a drive in while eating Ginos hamburgers. I remember when Resse's peanut butter cups were new.
  8. Never had a lemon. Bought some that I did not like after and sold them but never something that did not work unless I bought it as a project gun.
  9. The series 80's have a few more pcs with the firing pin safety.

I would say $450 is a good price, $500 is fair and if it is prisitne $550 would not be out of the question If you really like it. I prefer the older ones like this with the hammer mounted firing pin.
  13. I am anti digital when it comes to reloading. I like dial calipers and balance beam scales. A lot boils dowm to personal preference but my stuff does not run low on batteries. I too have an older Lyman caliper but the one on sale at Midway will work just fine from what I have seen.
  14. I was thinking the same thing. The rest of the country would be in for an eye opener if they came here.
  15. well we can't have that now. Go back and try it again. How dare you follow the law. Sadly though, we do have Natural Born Citizens who do not know the process.
  16. Dude, that was in my head as I was typing. I am still singing it. Next we will have Dan puting in conjunction junction...
  17. I have had good results with both ammo brands, it is good to know they are a stand up company to boot.
  18. No I am really not Matt, but I had to say it out loud. It is one of the reasons our Country is going down the turd chute.
  19. After a bill passes the House it goes to the Senate. I am surprised people do not know this.
