I load at a comfortable pace. I do not try to crank out as many as I can as fast as I can. My guns are worth more than an extra 100 rds. I average 300/hr on my SDB. sometimes more, sometimes less depending on caliber. You think 9mm is a pain try loading 380.

Why send it back when all you need to do is tighten a nut and add loctite?

Yes and yes. If you can not find one I have 1 I could sell. I prefer the older 22's with wood and blued steel over the plastic and blackened steel you get today.

I made the tool in under 5 mins with a $1.97 3/4 in pvc pipe from Home Depotand my dremel. You need only cut 2 tabs to do it. If you want to after you remove the nut you can trace the 4 tabs needed from it.

I would say $450 is a good price, $500 is fair and if it is prisitne $550 would not be out of the question If you really like it. I prefer the older ones like this with the hammer mounted firing pin.

I am anti digital when it comes to reloading. I like dial calipers and balance beam scales. A lot boils dowm to personal preference but my stuff does not run low on batteries. I too have an older Lyman caliper but the one on sale at Midway will work just fine from what I have seen.
