Rich, If all you want to store in it is ammo, why not consider a locking file cabinet? You can find them cheap used on Craigslist, sometimes even in the free items. I can't speak to #2, but regarding #1, are you buying it there and bringing it here or is it being shipped?? If shipped, it can only go to an FFL. If you're buying it there and you personally are transporting it here, you only need to fill out the certificate of eligibility (available on the NJ state police website), one copy for the seller and one copy for you and you are good to go.

I have 3 pp's on the way. One is slated for a 22, either a Ruger Mark 3 or a Buckmark, depending more on how much $$ i have at the time as I would prefer the Mark III. The second will probably be a 1911. The third will be for my discretion, possibly a 380, possibly a revolver, or whatever else I stumble upon.

Aggressive enforcement of existing laws when guns are used by criminals in committing crimes would be welcome. I'm very wary of 'enthusiastic enforcement' when it comes to otherwise law abiding citizens - it seems to approach the magnitude of the schools 'zero tolerance' policies which often could be called '100% idiocy policies'.

I used #9 to clean, I get it at Walmart. I also picked up gunscrubber and I'm checking it out too. I use RemOil to lube, and I picked up a can of Drylube made by the same folks as PB blaster. I've also got CLP. So far though, I'm sticking to #9 to clean and I use old white cotton undershirts as patches.

Mr. Totalabuse, I have no respect for a fellow firearms owner who refuses to follow the 4 rules of firearm safety.
