  1. ENOUGH WITH THE FAT CHICKS ALREADY! If I wanted to see that, I'd turn off the computer & look at my wife. :liar: --Daniel
  2. Hitachi Urology Ultrasound with carrying case and mobile cart. ... Price: US$129.95 ea. plus shipping (FOB NJ, USA) LOL! Gotta love those random links Google throws at you! --Daniel
  3. So I shouldn't tell someone to "Sod Off" at 1911.org, huh? --Daniel
  4. About a year and a half ago I easily lost 23# using Dr Morrison's Detox Diet http://www.dailybenefit.com/detoxdietbydrmorrisonsdailybenefit.aspx Sounds awful but it was actually pretty easy to follow the Detox Diet and lose weight. I wasn't hungry and I didn't get headaches or $hit green stuff like in the article below. Read the article...it's pretty funny http://www.themorrisoncenter.com/docs/menshealther72007.pdf --Daniel
  5. Anyone know how this ultimately turned out for Oleg? --Daniel
  6. For me, I think it's about 158#. I plucked that number out of thin air & I have no idea how to reach it. Currently I'm about 9# over my ideal. Everyone always says it's good to have goals so there...I said it. 158# for me. :banana-dance: --Daniel
  7. In an adrenaline dump situation, you'll never see the tracers nor recognize what they mean. Not unless you're training for combat situations and expend thousands of rounds in training. However, they do look like fun in the video...for grins & giggles at an indoor range. --Daniel
  8. Yes, get them but not right away. Buy your Swiss Miss, learn to shoot her, finalize your grips & then evaluate your P226 sighting options. Unless you're going for the tacticool look, night sights might not be your best option. From a home defense perspective, a dog is much more useful than a set of night sights. And most folk don't put in enough hours training to handle a flashlight well enough for it to be an asset in a HD situation. I like night sights but I don't have them on every pistol. Ask yourself, "Under what conditions will most of my shooting occur? Or under what conditions will my most important shooting occur?" These answers will help you determine if you need large green glowing alien eyeballs on top of your pistol. Just my 2-cents... --Daniel
  9. I thought Wolfy had the market cornered on smooth & sweet 1911's? :? Unless 9mm doesn't count in the world of 1911's... :snooty: --Daniel
  10. I wonder if these Texas Size Round Rock Donuts attract big cops? Round Rock Donuts is is known for its giant Texas Donut, which is equivalent to a dozen donuts. --Daniel
  11. This hits close to home. You come out the Pentagon metro station, up the escalators & depending on the time of day, you'll stand in line for a while to clear the metal detector security station. There's always 3-5 Pentagon cops with Glocks at the security checkpoint and several more FP guys with EBRs nearby. Thankfully this was close-range and short duration or a lot of people might have been shot. Kudos to the officers involved for their quick reaction and levelheadedness under fire. --Daniel
  12. +1 on the SIG P226 in 9mm Let me know if you can't find one to test out. I'll have one at Brick Armory on Sunday for you to try. It's fun helping new shooters select their first firearm. I enjoy working with them whether they're window shopping or have their NJ Pistol Purchase Permit in-hand. --Daniel
  13. I've seen some gun stores close on Sundays during the summer months as a way to give the staff some much needed time off. --Daniel
  14. Mrs. Circlesqr has way more than that with her meatloaf! :laughing-rolling: --Daniel
  15. Bought a SIG P226 (no surprise) from Gene Salomon for a first gun. Imagine the horror if he had talked me into a Beretta 92FS instead! The transaction went very smoothly once I understood Gene prefers cash to an American Express card. :naughty: IIRC, I shot it for the first time at Shore Shot. It functioned beautifully...although I had a lot to learn about proper grip, sight alignment, and trigger pull. I wasn't nervous because I had rented a few handguns at the range before purchasing my Swiss Miss. --Daniel
  16. Nah. 7.65 mm Browning is generally subsonic. --Daniel
  17. In a related note, I saw a pickup truck in TX with a license plate that said, "DISARM". I was immediately pissed till I noticed an EOD decal on the rear window. In that context, it was cool! 8-) --Daniel

  23. P226 X-SIX Scandic http://www.sigsauer.com/Products/ShowCatalogProductDetails.aspx?categoryid=61&productid=230 I seriously doubt Mrs. Circlesqr will ever let me get one of these Swiss Misses... When I first saw her, I thought the gold controls were a bit gaudy but they've grown on me. Do you think she's a high-maintenance kinda gal? --Daniel
  24. NP Tom. Yes, Maksim, you nailed it. I'm curious if any FFLs have received other-than-verbal guidance from the NJSP on the legality of the Ruger Charger in NJ. Not interested in busting anyone's balls...just attempting to locate a concrete answer we can all use. If they're legal I'll happily buy one. Hell, I'll probably buy two of them. However, In the absence of concrete guidance from the NJSP, I'll continue to hallucinate that they're not legal. And actually I'm the IT Geek at BA. SIGs are just a hobby. --Daniel
  25. Actually the nice ladies at NICS deserve flowers or something to show our appreciation. At least one of them went in to work today to clear the 300+ backlog of calls/faxes. --Daniel
