  1. Great work Tony! Should be a fun little car! What trans are you going with?
  2. Tonka...pit/boxer mix as far as we can tell. I rescued him 11-5-07 he was found wandering the streets in Pemberton. He is just about two and a half now. Riding shotgun with me in the Challenger Two of his favorite things to do...Mess up my bed, and chew on water bottles... caught in the act twice.
  3. We have ALOT of deer, and we dont want people hunting the property because of the horses. On our property, the neighbors, and the huge farm behind us (has something like 150 or more horses) and these people dont know when too close is too close I guess.
  4. if this computer wasnt such a piece of garbage with the new windows, I would try it, but it lags behind even while posting this message. I am about 7 words ahead of where my cursor is while I type...
  5. Trust me, I was :-) Well, we have a rabid raccoon that I need to take care of also, so I already have had the shotgun out there while I have been splitting/stacking this firewood. I see it when I dont have the shotgun with me, go figure.
  6. Thanks everyone! No problems today, YET.
  7. Yeah, I have what I believe to be the number but I am not sure. I will call it tomorrow if it happens again and see where it leads me.
  8. Did the same last year, they were not really looking to do much.
  9. For the past few years now, we have had a hunter coming either really close to, or ONTO our property to hunt (it is all posted no-hunting) and I am getting a bit tired of the BS. Now I am not hunter by any means, but this guy does NOT take his kills. I have seen deer stockpiled 3 high before. I am 99% sure its the same person who "spotlights" the field next to me (which is basically aiming towards my home.) and possibly part of the two man crew I heard unload 12 shots very quickly on multiple occasions  Today I was out stacking some firewood when I hear a shot go off, now I believe its a muzzleloader day today, but when I looked I saw the smoke drifiting across the field so I knew it came from my woods. We butt up to a large farm, but the deer were running across my field and I believe they shot in that direction. Where can I call, because this person has balls and is getting VERY close to my home and my animals. Todays incident was within about 300 feet from my back door. Any help would be great. Jon
  10. Lets hope it goes quickly so you can pick your shotgun up soon
  11. Thats what I thought it was, but most definitely will not fit the Mauser, I will try again and see why, or maybe since you say it has been painted over, that if there is paint in the way of allowing it.
  12. I got my Mauser pretty cheap, as well as my Mosin...both are a blast to fire...only if my buddy didnt lose the band spring on the Mauser on saturday
  13. Mods, if this is in the wrong spot, pleace put it where it needs to do. I wasnt sure where I should place this. I bought this bayonet about 6 years ago when I graduated high school from a small antique shot up in Maine for $10. I wasnt sure what it was from but I really wanted to own a piece of history so I bought it. I thought it may have been a German Dress bayonet but, I cant find others like it with the same markings. I am sure its a Carl Eickhorn by the etchings (see pictures) but after that I have not figured it out. Anyone have any insight as to what this may be? It definitely does not fit my K98 (its just a bit too small to fit on the lug) Jon
  14. Yeah, I ended up in PA and bought a new (to me) rifle, had no issues, but I heard it was backed up in NJ
  15. Happy Thanksgiving everyone, please be safe!
  16. I have the first one for 360, I can get into it sometimes. It is alot more "laid back" than the COD lineup it seems.
  17. My buddy turns 21 on New Years eve, so I think we will take him out to a bar, show him what he isnt missing, and probably be back at a friends house way before midnight and enjoy not being in a mob of people.
  18. Considering I am one of those statistics, it definitely does not make me feel good. College grad as of summer '08 with a bachelors, and since then, I worked for a general contractor who basically lost all customers, went to a security supervisors position where I was basically pushed out because I have a brain and an opinion, now unemployment sucks. One thing I do know is I am thankful for having a great family who has stood by me, because I know many people have it ALOT worse right now.
  19. Usually Jack, and either Yuengling / New Castle / Guiness....sometimes in that order, sometimes not.
  20. This is insane. Let's march on Washington with our Baitcasters and Ugly Sticks. How dare they take away my fishing (drinking) time. I'm really getting tired of this shite. Fully Agreed!
  21. Same here, we have had our one going for a day now, it was lit a few times previous to that. We moved into this house three years ago, and only ran one, but last year we bought another one and fire that thing up once it gets a bit colder because it runs ALOT hotter. The natural gas people no longer like us because they put almost nothing in the tank anymore.
