Alloy wheel repair/refinishing in South Jersey

Bahahahahaha! Like that’s gonna happen. They’ll let this state crumble to the dirt before they take care of the taxpayers. I hope they do reimburse me, but I’m not too optimistic they will. -

I’m going to file. Damage to my car was 2 wheel bearings, and 2 wheels. I’m going to file for the bearing repair, 2 of the 4 wheels I bought, and realignment. Here is the link I found to file a claim. https://www.state.nj.us/treasury/riskmgt/tort.shtml -

My wheels are hard to find, but I bought a set through these guys: https://www.autorimshop.com/ They had them in stock, and shipped within a few days. -

Thanks, guys! 1LtCap, I’ll call you tomorrow. -
Can anyone recommend a shop that repairs and refinishes alloy wheels? Looking for a shop in South Jersey. I hit a crater on the NJTPK, and damaged 2 wheels. I bought a replacement set, but would like to have the originals repaired and standing by for ready service spares. I’d appreciate any recommendations or advice. Thanks in advance!

Hey, I have 750 acres of land, a shovel, and firearms.... -
Actually it was just south of the GWB on 95...north of the tolls. Not sure if that’s considered the turnpike or I-95 at that point.

As much as we pay in road use taxes (gas tax), tolls, and other taxes in this crap hole state, the roads should be in excellent condition. I’ve been to 3rd world countries with better roads than NJ. It’s maddening....and I’m particularly angry after just spending $2500 in repairs after damage sustained after hitting a pothole on the NJ Turnpike. 2 wheels/tires, and front wheel bearings toasted because of that hole. Now, we are raising the gas tax again....and get absolutely nothing in return for it. I have half a mind to staple my repair bill to the head of DOT’s forehead and demand reimbursement.

I’d be in for some 5.56 and .308

I have used Federal Gold Match out of my Colt LE901 with excellent results. Kinda pricey though. I usually shoot M80 ball ammo, it’s relatively cheap, and accurate enough.

I said exactly the same thing. I’ve aleays read the ‘#’ symbol as ‘pound’ but I didn’t put 2 and 2 together. Its hilarious! I wonder if the originators figured it out!! Oh, the irony!!

Bear Hunting Now Banned on Public Lands in NJ
Displaced Texan replied to Mrs. Peel's topic in Hunting, Fishing & More
When a bear attacks, they’ll blame the human. Although, in many cases it IS the humans fault. I remember reading several years ago that a man was mauled by a bear up in Wachung because he ran out of sandwiches to feed the bear. That was TOTALLY a stupid human problem. I heard the bear was killed by wildlife officials. I felt bad for the bear. Controlled hunting keeps the population in check and actually can beneficially balance out the environment animals live in. -
