New to Trap/Skeet...Where to Buy Clays???
chris327 replied to NYMetsFan86's topic in New Firearms Owners Corner
i try to buy them when i use them and not keep to many extras around. If they sit in humid air they break easily. So i normally buy and shoot the whole box. then dont buy again until i shoot again. -
ex corrections officer denied carry permit

Im pretty sure the original drake case had a class 2 involved in it from essex county. I think he was issued a permit to drop off the case. -
ex corrections officer denied carry permit

not to drag this on. But i agree we should all be able to. but its ridiculous a co got denied. As i said we should all be able to get permits. -

Yes everyone should be able to get a permit, but we cant yet. But either way a co should be able to get his after 7 yrs. That is a tough job, many would say it is harder than being a cop. You deal with scum all day long. I turned down several job offers to be a co through civil service because i didnt want that life. It takes a special person to do that job and they really should be able to protect themselves when off duty or when they retire. Its not like he worked for 2 months and left. he did 7 years. -
thats because its a good parts car for bibs. He is not a scrap metal guy but a parts guy. Bibs prices goes down the more damage there is to it, missing mirror takes 25 off. not aluminum rims but all steel takes $40 off, ect. A scrap yard takes it for metal value no matter the condition.

what kind of car is it? the $2000 was the cash for clunkers i believe. A government funded program. It is not around anymore. Most cash for cars businesses turn around and tow them to a scrap yard. You will get more if you bring it direct depending on what kind of car it is. But if its junk dont expect more than a few hundred.

I have the fns9 and glock 19. Depending what its for, glock 19 if its defense gun. i just dont trust anything else. FNS fits my hand better and im more accurate with. I have never had a malfunction or jam in it either but the glock 19 is just more proven at this point. Plus the fns mags are very expensive, about double the g19 mags.

Im hoping you have an upgraded electric service in your house? i have a 100 amp service that has no open breakers. And i believe for code you need a breaker just for a ductless unit. Ive been looking into doing it but 1 have a 100 amp that's full. so im converting electric stove to a gas one and that should free up a breaker and i can do the ductless. Check with some of the service and installers. Im just a home owner, but thats what my understanding.

yes there's definitely a few we can easily swing. But we need 9 seats to take over the assembly. I think we can get a few but not 9 we need.

As i have stated show me which 9 seats you claim were close enough races that can be flipped by gun owner vote. Ive looked at the results numerous times. I dont see enough races that can be flipped by gun owner votes. also considering republicans won a few seats barely and could be lost at the same time. As ryan stated we need to make it a bi partisan issue. none of us really want a pro 2 a democrat. but if that can get the job done we may have to start there.

Definition of business owner

i think you have nothing to worry about. But just make sure the other owners are ok with it. -
Definition of business owner
chris327 replied to Mreed731's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
agreed but it depends on the company. if you have shares in a publicly traded large company, a big box store or something its much different than if your 1 of 10 share holders in a small local company. I would think that a good lawyer can fight that you are then part owner. But there is no definite answer about that. -

chris327 replied to Mreed731's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
ive done research into this and there is no definite answer. I would think your name on the lease your good to go and your a share holder. It does not even say business owner the law states your place of business. So it is really left to be interpreted. -

bingo, we need to get a pro 2a democratic candidate in some of these districts. Some are democratic powerhouses and republicans have no chance. If we get a pro 2a democrat we made a difference there. republicans wont win some of these districts, look at districts 28, 29, 31-35. Its not likely going to happen there when 70% of the vote is democratic in some districts.

GunBroker.com...Is it worth buying from here?
chris327 replied to Fallen Knight's topic in New Firearms Owners Corner
ive gotten some really cheap used mags when buying a bunch of them. there used to be a pawn shop that listed used mags on there. i once got 5 glock 23 mags for $10 each shipped. and another time 4 hk usp .40 mags for like $12 or $13 each shipped. But that was a few years ago. Ive also got a few used guns on there.
