  1. I wonder if these guys got in trouble for not being in full uniform without their armbands?
  2. You should'a got a truck load back then. If they never expire you could walk into a gun shop once a month now and it'd be like a cash and carry deal...….. Just like in Free America!
  3. The law suit should go forward. Ranges have barriers between lanes, so murphy can't say its to stop the spread of the virus. It would be the most isolation compliant business open. Also this proves every thing he does is ideologically motivated. It holds an entity, that allows exercising a constitutional right that he himself De Facto concedes to being essential, to higher standards than a liquor store (that it seems he thought was essential from the very beginning, who's product potentially promotes ciaos and violence) , appointment only, sanitize the store after every customer leaves. This goes to prove its nothing more than attack on 2A. As I said, the law suit should go forward to reverse the above two instances. Everything he's said about the issue since his EO will make an excellent argument in court as to his underling reasons.
  4. He already covered that..... Denying admission to NJ2AS that has press credentials via blocking his entry with armed state police. Reminds me of a movie I saw the other day, but Hitler and Nazi SS were involved there, not a governor in a democracy and police sworn to serve and protect. I have no idea how i possibly could have associated the two?
  5. I got coughed on last July. I told my wife I'll be self quarantining in the basement apartment for a month. I have 3 pistols and 2 rifles, a few hundred rounds, a fridge and a pantry full of food, internet access, 60 inch TV, and a dart board and I sent her out to get me 10 cases of beer. I sure wish she didn't have to carry it all in by herself, but hey, I'm quarantining .
  6. I'm sure by now we all know as written: "The designation by the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency is advisory. The agency notes that the designation does not override determinations by individual jurisdictions of what they consider critical infrastructure sectors." That's bucky's sides argument. Ours is it was deemed essential by the Fed We're still going to have to go to court, no doubt about it. We just have another gun in our arsenal (no pun intended...… well maybe a little) when we get there, ie If its not essential why are the feds designating it is. It forces bucky & Co. to prove why its not in leu of us proving it is . Greater minds than mine will be in the court room using it to our best advantage I'm sure.
  7. It sounds good, buy don't Right, it sounds good but don't get too happy yet. For those of you that don't know what the above people are talking about in regard to advisory...…. "WASHINGTON (AP) — A gun rights group is cheering the Trump administration's designation of the firearms industry, including retailers, as part of the nation's critical infrastructure during the coronavirus emergency. The designation by the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency is advisory. The agency notes that the designation does not override determinations by individual jurisdictions of what they consider critical infrastructure sectors."
  8. One would think, but if you look at the ACLU's track record, they appear more shut mouthed on anything that involves right wing interests, or things they would vigorously defend if it were left. While not denouncing them, they typically don't pick up the banner if it involves 2A
  9. This is all well and good, but is NJ opened firearm businesses, ranges, NICS? In the probability have not and will not what actions can be expeditely taken? OK folks.... this is an edit to the above and what will have to be countered..... Seems the law suit will have to continue https://www.usnews.com/news/politics/articles/2020-03-28/us-agency-includes-gun-sellers-as-critical-infrastructure "WASHINGTON (AP) — A gun rights group is cheering the Trump administration's designation of the firearms industry, including retailers, as part of the nation's critical infrastructure during the coronavirus emergency. The designation by the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency is advisory. The agency notes that the designation does not override determinations by individual jurisdictions of what they consider critical infrastructure sectors." In other words its a toothless tiger
  10. I agree, I believe a disclosure would show the majority of first time gun buyers is the epidemy of hypocrisy
  11. I would think this is excellent argument as to the closures being ideologist and using health as a façade. I think it should also be argued for reversal of laws passed and proposed by this administration since bucky took office.
  12. In New Jersey, the lockdown order issued by Gov. Phil Murphy included licensed firearms dealers as “non-essential retail businesses” and directed them to close to the public. The state also shut down new submissions to its background check system, which effectively put any new gun sale in the state on hold. It's my understanding LEO's have to follow the same procedure as anyone else to obtain a firearm in NJ (although with prejudgest it thier favor I'd immagine). So does the above "directed them to close to the public" indicate that NICS closures, and sales altogether only applys to someone seeking a means to "PROTECT themselves and their loved one's" against critical threats that occur during normal times and even more so in a time where situational conditions could escalate these threats, or does the fact that they are defined "nonessential" mean only municipal agencies which hold "NO DUTY TO PROTECT" have a circumvention to this Executive Order? Also altho defacto nonexistent to the average public citizen, isn't this a contradicion and executive denyal to a person who qualifies with "Justifyable Need" for a CCW to protect themself from deadly iminent threats after the state by way of a police chief AND judge deemed possessing a firearm is the only to do so?
  13. Be advised, this is a serious question. I live in north Jersey and wouldn't expect SC to deliver to where I live. But in the interest of supporting SC and the fact that I would (under the circumstances) like to beef up the amount of ammo I have at the moment, would there be anything not right about completing an online order with instructions to deliver it to me in my car parked in front of the store when I call notifying them I'm there? Never mind. Just saw the how to order post. I'll be calling them in the morning
  14. So does this order cover curb service gun sales in Newark and Camden or only licensed gun shops?
  15. I thought there was controversy about calling your employer awhile back and it was deemed no go due to the only what on the form issue?
  16. I only read the first 2 pages of this thread before posting so I hopefully am not being repetitive. In those 2 pages people are talking about hollow points being an "add on crime". Add on my ass, somewhere on the form, I forget the thread title (its from years ago) there was a thread about some guy getting arrested AND convicted for having a 44 mag round with a spent primer and a hole drilled through the case on his key ring. No other crime it being added on to. Just some cop saw his key ring with that on it and promptly arrested him before he could injure or cause a death with it.
  17. That kind of clears up something that I've wondered about. I know NJ law says duty to retreat and have read that NJ is a castle doctrine state and it always sounded like a contradiction. So is this the first time this has come up? And is it now precedent castle doctrine supersedes duty to retreat in your home?
  18. This statement was made in a police station it appears. Would that make it a statement by the Dept? Is there no liability or repercussions for intentionally making a false representation (lie) here? This actually sounds to me like (forget about infringement) outright denial of a constitutional right And the officer in question committed perjury while doing so. If this were a left wing issue the media, aclu and trenton would be all over it
  19. If I'm not mistaken, letting some one put their hands on a firearm that is in your legal care is considered transferring it in our lovely state of laws with twisted interpretations, thus need a fid. Ranges fall under different regulations.
  20. I think and have said before in other threads we shouldn't let anti 2A start small seemingly insignificant things and run with it until it becomes an issue. We let anti gun activist call 15 rd mag "high capacity" without aggressively, relentlessly disputing it. ALL semi-autos in question NEVER had a mag lower than 20 rds until states lowered the legal limit in their jurisdiction resulting in manufacturers putting out compliant versions. If that had been a rock solid issue from the onslaught, narratives would have to be saying sues for sale of standard capacity magazines. Anti 2A activist are allowed a strong advantage in unsided public perception by being able to get away with calling a mag holding 11 rds (as many 40 cals do) high capacity. Same stands true with assault rifle. We here all know the difference. But middle class America has heard the term so much that they take it as truth. NO modern millitary issues or uses anything other than rifles capable full auto or burst in their arsenals except in the case of a sniper rifle which coincidentally to the best of my knowledge left wing has no issue with(under 50 cal versions)at the moment. On the other side of the double standard have you ever heard the news commination saying "police faced the crowd with millitary assault weaponry" when armed with AR's? The cliché that stands true here is - Tell a person a lie long enough and they will believe it. Its a difficult thing to undo after its been done (although should be pursued). But certainly should not be allowed to reoccur! I thank you for listening to my long winded rambling, but do hope you will think about what I've said
  21. AP Acknowledges NJ Gun Laws Don’t Stop Bad Guys As Downtownv points out in his editorial after the article..... Criminals will always get guns. Smuggled, 80% technology (you can make it illegal, but can't remove it from existence) there have even been instances where entire inventories of m-16/m-4 (full auto's) have been stolen from Reserve Armories. Lets say guns in America were completely outlawed. Now compare that to hard core drugs in America. They are strictly illegal at all levels, therefore they do not exist and there is no violent crime surrounding their being obtaining and marketied .......... Hows that worken out for ya left wing America Will AP now write an article titled https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/parishioners-praised-for-stopping-gunman-at-texas-church/ar-BBYsGux AP Acknowledges Texas Gun Laws Stop Bad Guys
  22. All this being said: Long Gun GTG …… Pistol ammo No Go Remember this is NJ. I'm surprised prosecutors haven't petitioned the courts to consider 223/556 hand gun ammo due to the existence of AR pistols
  23. Take the same langue sanctuary cities use..... Copy and paste it exactly as written...… Then change the words undocumented (illegal) immigrant to legal firearm owner.
  24. I read this article in the paper when it first came out, but I haven't been on the forum in a couple weeks. Today is Dec 29th, 19 days after the link was added here. I immediately went to, read and signed the petition. While doing so noticed it only had 246 signatures. 246 IN 19 DAYS. That's disgusting! Wanna know why 2A things in NJ don't change? If you haven't signed look in the mirror.
