  1. Close.. 92a1- removable front site + guid and spring are one piece + rounded trigger guard 92fs M9A1- different grips + different mags + beveled mag well ,civilian version has all the crap written on it just like the others. I believe the m9a1 is an FS while the 92A1 is of its own. the 92A1 has the round trigger guard which is a huge negative on my list.... others may not care or actually like it. From what i know the 92a1 is more like an upgraded 90two then it is a 92FS. 92a1 slide will not fit an 92 frame but it will fit a 90two.
  2. All the houses in these neighborhoods have security systems, so instead of moving on they found a way around them. Apparently there not even close to catching these guys either, all of the homes that were reported broken into had active security systems. Seems a little ridiculous when u think about it, all these guys had to do was snip a line and kick a door in. The only way they will get caught is if it is in the act. I remember over the summer my PD stopped some robbers on their way out of town with a u-haul truck packed to the brim. Every year it looks like its getting worse too. FYI- in and around my town and the neighboring one cell service has serious dead spots. My house for instance, i have to go to the other side of the house to make a call. I cannot call out from my room. Luckily i keep all my protection in my room with me + a corded phone, i might be the only one in the house with a corded phone, but thats because i can never remember to charge the damn cordless ones.
  3. This couldn't come at a better time. Recently in my town and a neighboring town. Homes have been reporting break-ins and robberies where there phone lines were cut and security systems disabled. Luckily no one has been home during the robberies, but if you were your options are severely limited.
  4. I would agree. If she can shoot with out being medicated then its fine. Otherwise wouldn't she fall under the pretense of being medically unable to safely handle a firearm. A law that is in NJ not sure about over there. Which would be grounds to take away her permits. She may actually have a hard time proving she needs pot but can safely use a gun, sounds like she may have to give one up.
  5. Actually, i'm not sure where this would fall under. Since it is medication, you wouldn't consider a person on anti-depressants to be under the influence, you call it medicated. And im not sure what the law is in regards to using a firearm while medicated.
  6. +1, unless we get a better republican we may be stuck with him for a while
  7. Not sure what that is but i did the notice the fact that AK is bigger then the person holding it. The only thing that would have made this better would be to see him shoot it!
  8. lol, she didnt fumble the gun, it just fell out.... russian spy goes model? not sure if this is a joke or not but seems kinda unusual..no?
  9. I hope you guys are better then JD Audi, man were they a PITA to deal with... There motto "the customer is always wrong" I may never buy an audi again because of that place.
  10. Believe it or not, the only way this woman may be able to use a firearm is while toked up.. She uses med maryjay for arthritis, if it is for her hands, she wouldnt be able to squeeze one off with out it. I've seen people with arthritis in the hands and it resembles carpel tunnel.
  11. yeah, and not to mention many many many many many places use 3rd party transactions.
  12. Love it!! saw it on a truck in my town last year, laughed my a** off, and it was a soccer mom too!
  13. I actually find the service to be better at places like lexus and honda, then bmw or audi.. actually dont get me started with AUDI there a bunch of f'in clowns at there service centers. It not a matter of treating them like crap, its a matter of selling you on a car. At BMW people walk in and know what they want already, this makes it very easy for a salesman. When people walk into honda, they just came from 3 other places looking at similar cars, salesman now has to convince why this person should buy a particular car. If someone gets bad service from BMW, gues where they go, another BMW dealership.. People are not loyal to the dealerships they're loyal to the company, and will go to the nearest convenient location. Most people like BMW because it's BMW, not because they get good service from BMW. My dad has gone through 4 different BMW dealerships over the course of 4 different cars, he said the service goes down hill every time he gets one. He used to get 7 series but has downgraded to the 535 on the last purchase as he retired and no longer sits in 3 hours of traffic everyday. The hardest part when buying a bmw is trying to figure out what options to get... But like i said now and days you want a bmw, go on-line make one and print it out, bring to stealership, pay for it and wait for it to come in... things have changed
  14. Up here you don't really deal with the customers at the BMW dealerships as a salesman. My dad has owned BWM's for the past 20 years and the last one he bought(2010) he had 0 bargaining rights, they told him go online..make your bwm, send it to us we'll either find you one or order it, and you pay the price they give you.
  15. You can add the Wyckoff Wildlife center. They rehabilitate a lot of animals there including deer. Also i would like to point out what you just said, I'm not saying that they shouldnt put an animal down that will not survive, make it quick and painful.... But i am absolutely against killing it because it is pissing people off which is exactly what i believe happened here, no where in the article did it state they put down an injured turkey, just says they killed it after it caused an accident. I am also against a PO who has zero background and understanding of animals putting one down based on his observations, he could be killing an animal that is protected in NJ, and he could be killing an animal that could survive. Like i said previously, NJ hires very knowledgeable people to take care of the wildlife in NJ, why wouldn't you use these recources...? seems like you have no respect for wildlife if you can just approach am injured animal, make a 1 min assessment and then kill it. There's a reason you have to go to school to become an animal control officer, you actually need to know something about animals. J0n, i challenge you to find where it states it is OK for an police officer to euthanize an animal...
  16. Like it or not euthinizing an animal is not part of a Police officers job, when we have rouge bears roaming around they call animal specialists, people take in rescue animals all the time there is no need for an uneducated person to make a decision like that. If a police officers notices a hurt animal he can just kill it? thats basically your logic. F&w hire very knowledgeable personnel to take care of NJ's wildlife, they are here for a reason.
  17. unlocked in the safe, but i could lock them all individually, no real reason to tho.
  18. HAHA, i can think of at least 2 good ones.
  19. I agree, this one was kinda lame and barely believable. A good April fools joke actually gets you going until the...APRIL FOOLS! The guy could have acted a little more excited, i may have actually believed him.
  20. Ahhh yes, the law of the land! I hear wild turkey meat is quite tough tho..
  21. That's no reason to kill it, certainly no justification there. Nor do i think a police officer has the knowledge to deem an animal injured to the point it cant survive on it's own. If it was injured they could have captured it and relocated it. Again, nothing grants a Police officer the right to put down any animal for any reason. The dept of fish and wildlife would have done it for them, sounds like they just wanted it gone and made it happen. I look at it this way, the turkeys were here before us, and they have equally if not more rights to be here then us. We create way more problems for them then they do us, we took away there homes, and wonder why there walking around our streets.
  22. Sounds pretty illegal to me. NJ dep. of fish and wildlife should have been the ones to take care of the situation, killing it being the last resort. A police officer shooting a turkey is no different then you or i doing it, nothing grants them the ability to do this, and it's one of many reason the dep of f. and w. was created. Sounds like they wanted it gone now and took it out back....hehe. Now will something come of it, i highly doubt it because the police did it, but if i told them i killed a turkey that was reeking havok on my street i would probably be fined a boatload of cash. Come to think of it, we have a turkey that likes to peck at peoples cars at an intersection around here, i'd love to see that guy on my dinner table.
  23. I don't put stickers on my car for a number of reasons. First and foremost i enjoy a clean looking car. Second, it's not the police that i'm worried about, it's the other's. Last thing i need is a free engraving from someone who loves obama or hates guns.
