  1. Or maybe not wish to take part in what NJ considers illegal activity is fine and a choice you have, personal freedom. That is okay. Wanting to and even going out of your way to make that person a criminal is part of the problem. I find it awfully ironic so many people complain about all these bogus laws yet are more than willing to have them enforced on people who even talk about not following them. So what makes you think a law will change when you seemingly support it? How would that make sense? Just saying.
  2. That would make sense to me and I don't see why you couldn't do that.
  3. I found would looked to be an injured ant today. It appeared to have an issue with one of it's legs, and wasn't walking right. I wasn't quite sure what to do so called animal control. They were very nice but not too helpful, and told me I should called an exterminator. They didn't seem to understand I was only talking about 1 injured ant. I debated about throwing it in the toilet. Or stepping on it. Or lighting it on fire. I dug around in a drawer and found a magnifying glass. I remember as a kid some others using that to burn them. It didn't work, probably because it was around 10pm, and the sun was not up. I'm not positive though. The ant crawled away, under some furniture. I haven't been able to find it again, and my dog is uninterested. I have my .22 pistol with me just in case it shows up though.
  4. Unfortunately in NJ, the perp could have been trying to jump over the counter and stab him, and the owner might still have a hard time trying to explain shooting him to some people.
  5. It says criminal was armed. I'm not sure with what, but I'm fairly certain an armed criminal in your store is still a threat. Unless sometime after he decided to rob the store, he had a change of heart and became a non-violent/aggressive person incapable of hurting someone. My guess is not.
  6. Hopefully he isn't charged. My reading of the statutes, is that if he ordered him to stop or surrender, and he did not, the use of force is justifiable.
  7. Or leave it in their driveway. Outline it with chalk. Tape off part of the driveway. Put lots of little cones or number markers around. Leave a flyer on their door asking for any information, and requesting that one of them come over for questioning. There are all sorts of fun stuff you can do with the unfortunate demise of a small woodland creature.
  8. Question: Is Godzilla doing the same thing at the same time in Tokyo? If so, what are the Japanese people going to do? They don't even have any guns. I can't believe you didn't even consider this. You heartless bastard.
  9. Though I have no experience with them, I'd say a belly band. I was thinking they were designed for wearing like gym clothes. I can see them being effective with smaller thinner handguns. Maybe something like this: http://www.pistolwear.com/ProductDetail.jsp?LISTID=ia1321470134895
  10. Though I own 2 Rugers, the S&W 22A is an excellent .22 pistol that I wouldn't hesitate to own. If you find one for a good price, I'd get it.
  11. I think putting actual ammunition in the rifles and pulling the trigger will work better to sight in than a boresight! All kidding aside, unless you have a feeling you are going to be so far off as to not even hit paper, a boresight probably isn't necessary. Then again, with how hard and expensive it is to get ammo these days, maybe it isn't a bad idea...
  12. If someone is looking for stories you certainly are too. You mean the guy who's house was searched and weapons seized illegally? You mean the guy that had a judge that is no longer serving and the governor didn't think he was bad enough to be in jail and commuted his sentence, and had convictions reversed? Those guys? There certainly are better stories out there to use then ones that seem to prove the opposite point. It appears that judgment is subjective. I would encourage you to do the same as it feels you were attempting to also pass judgment. Everyone has an agenda. Very NJ like attitude. Pay to get something that isn't even required to get something returned to you that should never have been taken from you in the first place. I'm starting to wonder about where you stand on NJ's asinine gun laws Maks. Maybe I missed it but I wasn't seeing people blame solely the police. I think most people agree it is much bigger then that. As many have seen in NJ, judges and politicians are often the biggest problem. I'm sorry this bothers you, but it bothers me that one would "blindly defend" as system that is broke. But it is what it is, a difference of opinion.
  13. I'm sure there are lots of things your not thinking of, but most of those would be irrelevant. As to the 10/22, it is a great rifle. Is the takedown worth the extra money? Depends. I'm sure it is more than worth the extra money for some, and for others, not so much. Do I like it? Of course. Who doesn't like 10/22's?!?!
  14. Pretty funny. The only people who would find it not funny are the people it made fun of and those that support them and hate freedom.
  15. He's not confusing anything. It is hard to be precise when you don't have a definitive aiming point. How do you know you are keeping the same hold/aim point without a reference point?...
  16. If you bought a CORE then you definitely should mount a red dot! Also,
  17. This is Australia, but still, insane! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYm9vCPLoG4
  18. I've seen enough rough rage videos of people seemingly trying to kill people because they got cut off to know nothing good ever comes from confronting someone over an incident. I don't know what it is about driving that turns people into irrational lunatics sometimes. No idea what happened here, but clearly getting involved in a road rage incident is a terrible idea.
  19. I'm about the furthest thing from Korean! I just find East Asian culture interesting, enjoy Korean movies and music, so figured I'd give the language a shot. Which continent is that? The largest and most populous country in South America (roughly half the total population) is a Portuguese speaking country...
  20. 한국어. I've been studying Korean on my own occasionally for the past year. I'm not doing very well. Learning hangul was about a million times easier than actually learning Korean... Estudié Español en la escuela secondaria (seis años), pues...y yo sé una palabra o dos, pero no entiendo...no comprendo cuando una otra persona habla. Tambien, no sé si esta frase tiene sentido... 日本語. I also have been trying to pick up on some Japanese. Also with little success, but also haven't given it any real dedication... Which four? I'm already jealous. When asked what superpower I want to have, I usually go with the superpower of knowing and being able to speak every language.
  21. I believe it was actually someone who claims to be a police officer who suggested that...just saying. I'm both curious and scared to go myself, what is njfunforums???
  22. That would be nice. Maybe somebody could let BLF know so he can join in with the rest of people.
  23. The thread was going fine until BLF jumped in, as per usual. It had nothing to do with discrediting any police. BLF does it to himself. The irony is incredible though.
