  1. I also agree. The Republicans will do the nuclear option if they have to.
  2. I would probably buy an out of state gun as long as it was from an ffl. Otherwise don't do it, its not worth the risk.
  3. Dave Decker Deckers Septic Southampton NJ (609) 953-5400 Ive been working with him for over 25 years. Honest and reliable.
  4. Its Great to finally see some optimism . Defeatism is self fulfilling . Keep up the good work.
  5. Whats wrong with the Baltimore tunnel? Is it the ammo and explosive prohibition?
  6. Is your FL. address on your NJ fpid card? I am going to change my dl to FL in July and was wondering how that works. Pretty sure the aft regs are what ever state you live in at that time is considered your residence.
  7. No I just had my wallet in my hand and looked at this guy holding a rifle away from me as if I was going to run off with it and thought to myself Im not going to buy it from them, so I said "you know what forget it" turned around and walked out the door.
  8. I said i won't be buying from them anymore because of how I was treated. Plain and simple. I told the guy to keep it and left . If you had a positive experience then good for you and them. I had a bad experience and explained what happened look at post #2 and see what I said about the store before I was disrespected . This is a forum where people share there experience good or bad.
  9. I don't need my ass kissed . Do you own a business ? I do and I'm not a dick head to my customers. I do think its a great store and have bought items from them and Tipps in West Creek. You hold a gun I'm interested in over your head as if Im some little kid then keep it. There isn't 1 single gun in that store you can't get in 3 days on line for allot less Im all for supporting local businesses but i don't need some counter guy doing that. The last time I bought a gun there was a S&W model 19-3 and when I asked to see it the guy handed it over to me. There is no such law in NJ that requires showing a fid card.
  10. I had driven out to Shooters with the intent of buying an AK type rifle they had in stock, cash in hand when I asked to see it the guy grabbed it off the shelf and held it up over his head and said do you have you id card ? I responded i do and he held the rifle up away from me and told me he had to see it first. I reached in my wallet got it out and told him to keep it turned away and walked out. Fuck that place Im a clean cut 52 year old man and I don't give 2 shits what there store policy is Im not going to be treated like that. Ive bought several guns from Tipps the former store and a model 19 from them last year without showing an id card which i have had since 1984. I will not be returning.
  11. Pretty sure the NJ AG had made some type of clarification on Kalshnikov rifles. They are legally not a Kalashnikov rifle as long as it doesn't have "AK" on the gun. And the obvious features that make it an "assault rifle". I have heard this from 2 different ffls in NJ. There are allot of ffls that will not sell a neutered AK no matter what.
  12. I talked to ffl last night as long as the word "AK" is not on the gun its good.
  13. I get that part , my question is reguarding the word "AK" if it says AK on the rifle or "AR 15" on an AR clone regardless of features its my understanding its illegal in NJ. This rifles model number has AK in it but not on the gun itself just Vepr . Bottom line is as long as the letters AK are not on the gun any where is that all thats required for legality ? Most of the DDI's are no good in NJ simply because of the 2 letters A and K on the receiver.
  14. My main concern was the AK 47 nomenclature as the model number allthough its not stamped on the rifle? How would the ffl handle the paper work when it says AK 47 on the box and the receipt? Guess ill call Jack at JT's and ask him his opinion.
  15. Go to Atlanic Firearms. There out of stock but more are coming in. AK built on an RPK receiver with heavy barrel.
  16. This rifle is marked Molot Vepr 7.62x39 on the receiver ,doesnt have "AK " or "47" has no bayonet lug and would have to pin the muzzle nut to make it NJ legal. Is this NJ legal ?
  17. 100% of this will be laundered in one way or another to keep Democrats in power for all of eternity in NJ.
  18. Real pleasure meeting you and your wife. Anyone looking for a great ffl who can take care of your compliance work Jacks your man. Received my gun this afternoon had it ready by 4:00 for pick up. Thanks again hope to see you again.
  19. I like the muzzle nut look better than the slant brake.
  20. Boca Grande is in Charlotte Co.
  21. Maybe someday we will be neighbors I have a lot on the Bonefish canal my brother in law owns the 2 on ether side of me. Im here now and meeting the builder at 11:00 to start the process . You made a wise move buying in 2010 as Im sure you know the NW is going up in price every day for the last year and building is really booming. I like Cape Coral better than anywhere in FL. I lived in St. Pete and didnt like it and spent all my summers as a kid in Pompano Beach but the east coast isnt for me anymore. Everyone I talk to in the NW Cape loves it and so do I.
  22. NJ is a shit hole I love FL. going to Cape Coral tomorrow for a week of fishing. I lived there 20 years ago but had to move back to this dump. Im building a new house next year and moving down in 6 more years. Arizona has better gun laws thats for sure but Florida is pretty pro gun also.
