  1. As long as you have an FID Card you can have longarms in a gun rack on your rear window as long as their not loaded however i would not recomend it because the cop that pulls you over probably dosen't know that so you end up face down on the ground. It's smart to always have your guns unloaded and in a locked case when transporting

  4. Don't take issue with the statement he doesn't have an FFL my issue is with the fact that you keep saying it and keep telling people he won't have it anytime soon. Now I'm done with you because if you call me a trouble maker again we will have a different issue
  5. This thread started out with the statement he's getting ready to open. Your first post states he has no FFL your second post states he has no FFL your fourth post is basicly telling me i'm wrong about him applying for his FFL because of the steps YOU say you have to follow to apply for an FFL. Maybe I'm crazzy but it seems to me you have an agenda. I can't see the harm in applying early for Your FFL in anticipation of getting your Zoning letter and your State Retail License. My information came from Bill himself. And you are correct about one thing he is a very nice guy . I hope he gets approval today from the Zoning Board and eventually his FFL then lets see how many of his business cards you hand out daily then. Have a nice day
  6. He has applied for his FFL and his appointment with the Zoning board is tomorrow so you can apply before you get Zoning my Son in Law did the same thing in Jackson man your really going out of your way to make sure people know they don't have an FFL nice way to repay a guy that refers everyone that comes in and asks about buying guns to you
  7. You can apply for your FFL it won't be issued till you have your letter fom Zoning Getting Nervous ?

  23. 38 special this probably belong to a Chicago cop maybe he became a Detective and had it cut down to 3" its an odd size and theres no info anywhere about 3" guns none were manufactured that size.
  24. Manufactured in 1941 has a 3" barrel these guns did not come in 3" but it looks like. It was cut by a pro C.P.D. stamped on the bottom strap of the handle so this might have belonged to a Chicago Police Detective anybody ever come across one like this with a cut barrel and have a possible value. Thanks Keith
